RE: Fleckinger
If there is ever a family member of yours that I've made a memorial for and you want to take it over, please just let me know.

RE: Fleckinger
Sorry but I know nothing more about the Assman family than what is on the headstone.

RE: Donner photos
I could only add 1 photo per grave as there are 4 others, so I added 1 with all the names to one and the half one to the other..

RE: Fleckinger
Have you searched on It is free and has tons of info that might be helpful. (Not sure if you are new to genealogy or not so forgive me if I misunderstood.)
Ok, so now I am going to be very sophomoric about her maiden know where I am going, I am sure! When I first saw her father's name (I think it was her dad), all I could think was, "and we all thought he was a "leg man"... Sorry, I just couldn't help it. LOL!

RE: Fleckinger
There are a few possibilities that I can think of that you might explore:

1. Hubby is actually in there as well but not on the stone.
2. She isn't actually in there but this is a cenotaph.
3. Did she and her hubby like each other?

My unsolicited advice would be to call the cemetery office and ask if he is buried there somewhere and if she is actually buried there. Perhaps you found more mystery then answers on this one! I'd guess that nearly half of this cemetery has yet to be photographed so another tomb with her listed may yet to be found. I have found a handful of people her listed on 2 different tombs or vaults.

It does look like she is buried with her parents and other of her moms relatives. I'd be happy to give them all to you!

I've transferred this memorial to you but are you related to the rest of the people in this vault? I usually transfer everyone since so very often they are all related but maybe these are in laws. Let me know if you want the rest of them.

RE: Myrtle Mary
Your welcome. I'm glad that you found the memorial. I believe the memorials belong in the hands of family/friends.

We went to Hope Mausoleum location today and were asked to leave due to the fact that this is a private cemetery. We were not allowed to look or take any photos. Sorry we could not find your family.

RE: Ada H. Ippen Dirksen
Vicki, I was just doing a little work on my family tree & came to Find-a-Grave. That's when I found your message to me & I don't honestly remember if I responded or not. I get kink of dittzy at times I guess. (Gotta find some excuse, right?) Anyway you had asked if I was related to the Ippen line. The answer to that is a resounding yes. My grandmother (dad's mother) was Anna Charlotte Emilie Ippen. She was the older sister of Wilhelmine Alberta (Ippen) Conover, Ernest Peter Ippen, Emil Ippen, August F William Ippen, & Alberta Henrietta "Bertha" (Ippen) Moore. She married John Henry Handick. My dad was her older son, Henry Peter "Boob" Handick. I notice that your last name is Gibbons. Are you perhaps connected to Frances Rose (Moore) Gibbons? If so, hello cousin! My email is
