I am a retired pediatric nurse. My husband and I travel often, but mostly on cruise ships. Some day I need to convince him we need to travel on land. We both have so many historical figures in our family tree. I would love to see the areas of our country where it all began.|
The headstone in the picture is where my 4th great grandfather John Curtis lies. On July 22, 2015 the Town of Milton organized a Revolutionary War Veteran's Ceremony for him. I will be eternally grateful for the love and care they gave to my grandfather. He had not been recognized as a soldier until November 2014 when I was excepted into the Daughters of the American Revolution.
I am always glad to transfer a memorial I have created to a family member or even to some who cares. I can't do justice to someone I do not know, happily give to those who can. Just remember to give me your FAG# ;-)
Many of the memorials created are taken directly from the lists created by Ancestry or Historical Societies. I have thousands more to add.

Sorry I got that last message backwards. I should have said: Thanks for creating the memorial for Clarence Jones Find A Grave Memorial# 151952644. He was married to my great Aunt Essie Jones who is buried next to him I believe. Can you please edit his info to include her as his wife? She is Find A Grave Memorial# 116473885. Thanks!

|Dhiresha ||Re My "Lost" Relative|
I am desperately trying to get information on a family member.
My mother was the daughter of Archibald Joseph Reiss and Luella Amanda Hollowell from Friedensville, PA – She was born on 25 OCT 1895
Luella had one brother named Paul F. Hollowell – born 18 JUN 1893… He changed his name to Paul F. Sanders and left his family.
As far as I know, no one had any contact with him.
I started to do genealogical research many years ago and finally,
I came across Paul’s Grave site information at Find-A-Grave.com and, his military cards on-line.
I would love to know more about him as I have been trying to piece together my family history.
Please, can you help me…???
I am originally from PA but now I live in Vermont
My e-mail address is email@example.com

Thank you so much for the piece on my Uncle Lester's obituary. It's a niece addition to our family genealogy file. Have a great day and God bless!

That would be so nice to have a copy of the obituary. I appreciate it so much since we lost our copy of it. My dad loved his brother very dearly. We use to have old Victrola records, a few had Uncle Les playing in the band, which Uncle Les gave to my dad. When I was little I would play the records on the record player in the basement and dance to the music. Funny how memories come back on things like that. It would be so nice if you would send a copy of Lester's obituary thru the edit section on his memorial. It was very thoughtful of you to do this. God bless.
The name of the child is Hundley. That is a common name in the Vaughan family
Nice photo of the Patriots emblem. Well deserved. Now his memorial needs a short bio. To bad it seems that the manager is not cooperative. Thanks for going the distance for John Curtis! Kudo's to you cousin!
