James Bruere, SAR Patriot #P-123520, Find A Grave Memorial# 11522265
I am Dennis Boyer, Secretary, Arkansas Society, National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. I am a volunteer working on updates of the SAR Patriot Index, now available on line at Capt. Bruere is among my assignees, and I have located your photo at his memorial. We anticipate eventually being able to include photos, where available, with the Patriot's listing, so I am asking your permission to download and prepare for posting your photo.

Thanks for your good work.

Silvers @ Poale Zedeck
If you'll go to the Poale Zedeck website, there is no listing for a Joseph or Elka Silver for whom you've requested photos, or any listing for Arthur or Helen Silver which have memorial pages.
Are you sure they people are buried here, names possibly omitted from the directory?
Also, the plot locations for Henry and Rose Silver should read, Section 44, Quadrant B, Lot 4(Henry), Lot 3(Rose).

Re: Sophia (Gluck) Lenherr to her sister Catharine (Gluck) Seifried
Hello Debbie,

Unfortunately, findagrave doesn't have a link to sisters or brothers, only parents, spouses and children. Is their a memorial somewhere created for Sophia and Catherine's parents? If so, than I can link my memorial to them.

Re: Lenherr's in Riverside Cemetery
Hello Debbie,

I added the maiden name of Sophia Seiter as Lenherr and linked her to her parents. I also added her brother Anton Lenherr, who is buried in Morgan Cemetery. Glad to help.

RE: Joseph Silver grave
Thanks for the additional info. I did see the son's stone just before getting out of the rain.
I will call the administrator to inquire about Joseph and his wife. The address is located in the Pgh neighborood of Squirrel Hill which is predominatley Jewish. I suspect they came out here to my once rural now suburban community when burial space in the city became unavailable.
It is a very nice cemetery.

RE: Pvt. William P. Amey
It was nice that you had stone changed, however you can't change the fact that she was his wife and had a right to apply for a pension. As for the minor child that is was up to the government to clear up. All widows and children were in investigated before getting a pension. I had no information that was not correct. Unless you can get the records changed then they will have to stand as stated. The only thing I find new about his memorial you say you have created is only a picture. Other then that it does not state anything. I will consider removing my memorial to

Joseph Silver grave

I have claimed the photo request for Joseph Silver and his wife Elka who are supposedly buried in the Poale Zedeck Cemetery here in Richland Twp. Allegheny Co.Pa.

I have driven past this cemetery for 40 years and just today finally went inside to look for your person. However, I must tell you that the death date you have of 1927 is much too early for this cemetery. It was opened in 1954. My husband and I did a short cursory look around because a heavy rain broke out while we were there and forced us back into the car. We did not find Joseph or Elka in that time. Is it possible that 1927 is his birth date instead of death date?

I am having trouble finding any current phone # or contact person for info, however, I have left a message for the closest Funeral home to inquire with them on this matter. I am hoping that there may be a different, older cemetery that was used before Poale Zedeck. My husband is of Ukrainine ancestry and told me that Poale Zedeck means "Polish Jews" is this correct?
Anyway, I wanted you to know that I am trying and will go back soon when it is not raining.
