Hi, my name is Gary I'm an air traffic controller (for the last 25 years), and currently an Air Traffic Control Training Specialist, who lives in Cibolo, Texas (outside of San Antonio). I'm an alumni of Southern Illinois and Wayland Baptist, and a diehard KC Chiefs fan. In my spare time I like to mess with my yard, golf when I get a chance, play some cards, and dabble with geneaology. I've been researching my family for some time (About 12 years). If there are any Thompsons (Virginia-Kentucky...Montgomery and Bath Counties), Willis' (Virginia...Dickenson County), Stevensons (Kentucky...Clark County), and Throckmortons (Virginia and Kentucky...Nicholas, Robertson, Bath Counties) out there, well that's what I'm researching. If you think you are connected drop me a line.|
I got the itch in recording tombstones when I visited the old "Thompson Family Cemetery" outside of Mount Sterling, Kentucky.
I'm willing to beat the trails in Guadalupe, Wilson, Gonzales, Bexar, and Comal Counties, Texas to capture tombstones.
Good Luck to all!

I so appreciate your headstone photo on my ggrandmother Julia M (Talley) Humble's memorial 22674439. This is a dual headstone photo with her husband William Thomas Humble. William now has memorial 133363927. Am hoping you can add the photo to his memorial as well. Since the photo was taken by you, you should get the credit. Thank you for your help with this.

I am a descendant of James Hedges Thompson and Elizabeth Frances Payne thru their son William Joseph.
I recently found the memorials for James and Elizabeth on Find A Grave on a fluke. Their markers had only first and middle initials and year of birth and death. Contributor Kendal Culbertson transferred management to me so that I have fleshed out the information.
I am currently going thru family tree and rechecking the information out there. Have been able to link about a dozen Thompsons on Find A Grave.
Thought you might like to check out the new links.

Can you delete the connection between Joseph J Schilhab and Children: Joe Anton as this is not the child of Joseph J. Schilhab.

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. L 22nd NC Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Lee Russell's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.
Do you allow your photos of the headstones to be used on websites like ancestry.com? You have taken some wonderful pictures and I do appreciate your work.

Thank you for the picture of the Thompson Cemetery in Kentucky. James Hedges Thompson and his wife, Elizabeth Frances Payne are my 3rd Great-grandparents.
I am also indebted to another Thompson researcher who posted a photo on Ancestry.com of them late in their lives. Thanks for making my hunt easier.
