Thank you so much for sending the photo of Augustus Van Horne. I was doing some very old family history & had no idea that I could find a photo record of his gravesite (family vault).
Thanks also for the info at the bottom of the photo, it really adds to what it must be like in such a beautiful old place.
Your kindness is sincerely appreciated!

Hi DJ, How rude of me! I was going through some old emails and found the emails announcing you had taken these photos for me (16 May 2011)! I am so sorry that I didn't respond then. So, here I am, over 2 years later....
Thank you so much for the time and effort you took to get these photos for me! This site has been a wonder for me because of great people like you.

Thank you very much fir the photos. Would you be able to send them to me personally in higher resolution? The writing is difficult to see with the one posted on the website.
Thank you very much
Thank you for the information regarding Johannes at Trinity. I appreciate you letting me know that he is not buried at that cemetery.

Thank you for taking the photographs of Harriet Josephine Pierce Ricketts's tombstone in the Trinity Churchyard Cemetery in Manhattan. It is thanks to individuals like you; who volunteer their time to bring ancestors closer together, even if it is only through a photograph of their final resting place. This will help future generations in our family to know a little more about their ancestor. ~ George Gaston

Thanks so much for the photos. His mother, Julia, lost her husband and her infant son within a short time. Then she raised her only daughter Mary, who died in 1843 just after giving birth to her only daughter, also Mary, and Julia raised her. So it is important to me that infant James is remembered. Regards, Ellen

Thanks so much for the gravestone pics of my Wyeth ancestors. This is such a wonderful site and I have gained so much knowledge from it. Thank you for the work you and others do taking photos of these gravestones which we would otherwise not have. Keep up the great work.
