Bio Photo My late wife and I were first introduced to Find A Grave in 2009 after her sister had become a member. It wasn't long before we also became quite involved, especially after deciding to become photo volunteers. We soon became aware of one great benefit that we had not expected. We began to make many new friends from all parts of the country and we discovered a great many relatives, both living and deceased, that we didn't even know existed. During the first three years of our membership, it was our pleasure to visit a great many cemeteries in north Texas and southern Oklahoma, the area known as "Texoma", where we fulfilled as many photo requests as possible. We also photographed a great many other grave markers and applied them to memorials that lacked a photograph and in many cases we created memorials and did as much research as possible to honor that person. We also photographed and researched many cemeteries from other parts of the country during our retirement years when we had the opportunity to travel.

My wife, Phyllis Elaine, passed away in March, 2012. Since that time, I have continued my various activities with Find A Grave. I still enjoy doing volunteer photos for folks requesting them and do this mostly in the "Texoma" area where I live.

I created an on line memorial for my late wife and if there are folks who would care to view it, just look in Find A Grave for Phyllis Elaine (Anderson) Fulton (34287113). Her biography tells the story of the life that we shared and the wonderful wife and mother that she was to those of us who loved her.

RE: Dwaine Grossman
You're most welcome. Someone who was quitting findagrave transferred several to me, but I had no connection to them or their location, so I tried to find good homes for them.

CHS Class of 1955

Thank you so much for visiting my mom, Frances Anderson Hall's, memorial & leaving flowers & a message. Cancer took her away from us unexpectly & too soon. I see that you have a virtual cemetery set up for the Class of 1955...did you go to school at Concordia High?

RE: Shirley Perkins Memorial
You're very welcome. I agree about "completing" the memorial, and I was delighted to find her.

RE: St. Charles Memorial Gardens
You may do that if you would like to be notified when and if I come across them. It is possible they were added since that person was out there. I do wish the staff would be more helpful. I try to get my daughter to go with me and help take photos as it goes faster that way. The other thing that makes it so difficult is the sections are not clearly marked, so it's a guess as to what section it is. I am hoping that eventually most of the currently open requests will get filled. We took approximately 700 pictures that day and so far have managed to fulfill 2 others. Doing that particular cemetery also gives me the chance to visit with relatives and is a challenge. It's sad though that some pictures I've taken aren't the best as I keep forgetting to take a jug of water and a broom with me to clean some of them off.

RE: Marvin Mreen Photo
You are very welcome. I agree it is much nicer to have a photograph on the memorial. I am working on photographing this entire cemetery and have been amazed at how many I have found that haven't been created yet. Unfortunately, the office staff isn't very cooperative in locating graves if you aren't family.
