We have been tracing our family trees for a number of decades. As part of that research, we have walked a number of cemeteries photographing the gravestones. Jim's genealogy centers on Mason County, WV and Elizabeth's family comes from the western New York area. |
ADDITIONS or CORRECTIONS
Changes to names, dates, places and relationships can be easily made under the Edit tab on any memorial.
The purpose of Find A Grave is to record burial locations, not build your family tree. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
If you wish to gather your family members, use the "Virtual Cemetery" feature.
Requests for transfers outside the "Family First" policy will not be honored. (Note: "Family First" as defined by Find A Grave in the FAQs are direct relatives within four generations as siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren)
All the current policies on transfers can be found at "How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?" under the "Help with Find A Grave" link on the left hand side of the page.
Photographs we have taken can be used on other websites or in printed materials ONLY if credit is given to Findagrave.com (including cemetery name) and credit is given to "Jim and Elizabeth" as photographers. Any images we have uploaded are copyrighted and are not free for the taking without proper credit.

Dear Jim and Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for taking a picture of Clara's grave! I really appreciate it, especially since it is highly unlikely we will ever get to upstate New York again!
I'm here in Northern California if you ever need anything!

Jim & Elizabeth,
As always thank you for the additions. I just finished photographing this cemetery yesterday.

I hope you don't mind my asking, but I'm just wondering if the McCargo burial at the Campbell cemetery in rural Pike, Wyoming Co., NY is correct? There hasn't been a burial in the cemetery for years. last burial recorded was 1857. Just wondering.

Her birth year is incorrect as per 1900 US Census and death notice both clearly state May 1869, not 1874.
Thanks so very much for the photographs! I appreciate it very much!

My friend has a family Bible with info on Isaac and Thomas in it.

I'm finally catching up with my e-mails and found yours. I made sure the tombstone for Sarah Jenkins is now in the correct memorial. Took it off the old one as well. I also added Gideon's obit. info. Sorry about the delay. I've gotten so involved in the Leonard Fuller project that I'm neglecting my e-mails!
Let me know if there's anything else.

I emailed you.
