Soldiers Memorial's
Just a thought here to ponder on.

I have taken notice that when a volunteer goes out and takes a picture of the grave sites of the soldiers why isn't there a picture of their wife taken and memorial added ?

The wife of the soldier is just important as the men that served our country they stayed at home and keep the house warm, raised the children and some went to work and worried everyday that there husband would walk in that door alive. Woman also had a improtant role when there husband was out fighting for our country. So try to take that extra step sideways or backwards to see if his wife was buried with him so that she also may be honored.
Remember this, his wife may of been tending to the sick and injured on that field or the Hospital Base..

Thank you for taking and posting a photo of my greatgrandfather's gravestone. He was only 27 when he died and we know very little about him. His only known child was my father's mother.
Thanks, again, for your service.

Fairview Cemetery
Thank you for your time in photographing graves at Fairview Cemetery in Altoona PA. I have been there twice but have not been able to locate my great grandparents gravesides. His name was William Cameron and per your info they should be in Section C Lot 8. Is there any map available which would help me locate the various sections in the cemetery?

Thanks again for your time in recording the info for us to access.

Sarah Elizabeth Michaels
I know how I got the information that she was buried at Charlottsville Cemetery,it was listed on her death certificate as where she was to be buried, her husband signed the dc and I'm assuming he named the cemetery. So who knows, if she wasn't listed at the Charlottville Cemetery I don't know where she is. Thank you for your time

I have removed my photo request for Sarah Michaels, she could be at Oak Hill Memorial cemetery in Karthus, Clearfield County with her parents. I am removing this memorial as I was the one that created it, Her parents are James Michaels and mother Rebecca Elizabeth Rauch. I think what is confusing is her maiden name was Michaels and apparently married a man named Harry Michaels. Thank you for looking and now I will be doing more research.
Best Regards
