|Sheila Harrison||Hi, Ruth!!|
Long time no contact!! Don't know if you remember me, but we have communicated much in the past. I see your name now and then, but never do anything about it, so just wanted to say HI!! <3
John Henry Browning is my 3rd Great-Grand Uncle descended from my 5th Great-Grandparents, John Browning & Dorothy Davenport ... I THINK! LOL!
The Brownings continue to drive me nuts. ;-)

My great great grandparents were James and Sarah Jane (Bryant)Browning. Charles Sherman was my great grandfather. I live in Springfield! I was looking at Brownings in Missouri and saw this. I'm going to dig and see if we are connected by more than where I live!

Just happened to stumble the memorial note you left for Martin Davenport. Nice to see you here on FindaGrave! You sent me a lot of information on Thomas Cole and Hannah Davenport several years ago, and I'm still very appreciative.
Just thought I'd let you know that thanks to DNA testing, I think I'm finally comfortable in saying that Hannah Davenport Cole was indeed my great grandfather Lewis Houston Cole's grandmother. My aunts and I have DNA matches with other descendants of Martin Davenport.

Just wanted to let you know that I have had the memorials of Parington and Mahala transferred to me by TexasCSA. I have made the corrections that you mentioned in your message left on his/her message board on Dec 28, 2011
I made a proposal to this contributor a while back that I would accept transfer and subsequent management of all memorials they created in Johnson County TX. This was offered to help alleviate some burden on them due to their lack of having regular internet service. Since my proposal was made, the memorials have just recently been transferred to me.
I have also sent SAC's for the memorials of John, James and Otis (also buried Godley Cemetery) asking the contributor of those memorials to link them to their parents.
If you would like the two Packwood memorials that I have to be transferred to you, I would be willing to do that. I know you said that you were distantly related so perhaps you might not. Let me know if you would like a transfer.
I'm sorry to be so slow but I have made the changes you asked for.

Changes that you requested have been made :)
I checked my pictures. My guess is that I couldn't read those stones at the time, but I did take a lot of pictures in that sec tion, unless I can find original c opies which I might have deleted.
Also 2 inf. children are listed, one son of J J & MM and Dau of J J and M. E. I didnt happen to take any of those pictures. and don't see them in the findagrave listing. I will check my file of pictures on my computer which I should still have. Although if I had taken them, I thought I would have done all of them, which means I took it for a person.

Ruth: I no longer live at Verona. I do have the Spring River and Friestatt Twp listing of cemeteries done by Historical Society.
First page has John J 1846 1935 and wives Mary E. 9 mar 1860 - 14 sep 1917 and Mary M. 6 Jun 1849 - 7 Apr 1884.
I do however plan to go to Monett for a couple days to stay with our daughter and family. Wont have time to stop at the cemetery. I can transfer management of these graves to you so you can edit them how you want.
