Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born March 10, 1940 in Hogansville, Troup County, Georgia to Herman Hanson Mattingly and Mary Lee Oma Crowe and the second eldest of seven children to Herman and six to Mary.

My primary genealogical interests include Mattingly and Crow/e and connecting lines. I am descended from Cezar Mattingly but research all of the Mattingly name. From the Crow side, I am descended from James Crow (1713) and his second wife, Grace Denson.

If you see a memorial created by me and the individual concerned is of your immediate line, but not of mine, I am happy to transfer that memorial to you in accordance with Findagrave rules.

John Hornell

I have a pic of a highly damaged headstone with the name John Hornell. The rest of the stone is damaged badly so there is no more information. However, in very tiny letters across the top it says, "...ected by Fannie Mattingly". Any ideas about who this is? John Hornell Mattingly?

More Mattingly's

I have added two Mattingly infants - you might be able to figure out who the parents are by looking at the headstone pic (pretty clear if you click on it, then click again). I will transfer them to you. Also, added photo of Margaret Vitula Mattingly's headstone which shows her mother was Mary L. (Pool).

Just wanted to let you know I have added memorials for Willam (1826-1885) and Mary (1824-1908) Mattingly at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Breckenridge County, KY (were you looking for them?).

The shopping center he developed is Hazelwood, not Hazelhurst. This is my grandfather.

Do you want me to connect them and create Eunice's memorial or do you want me to send you the picture of crypt?
