They say a picture is worth a thousand words was right. On my worst day going out and finding a headstone that someone has been looking for and finding it is a great feeling. Not only does it make me feel good but puts a smile on someone else's face. It's taken me over 40 years to find my father's side of my family again, I haven't stopped smiling. From a cousin that was my play mate when I was 7 to family in Italy the roads are endless...And from those roads a new life has begun. Though they may not be in the present they are holding our hand as we go down this new road guiding us through the turns of life.. NEVER STOP LOOKING... YOU CAN FIND THEM... sometimes they are just around the corner.|

A free source for Texas Death Certificates is the Church of Latter Day Saints genealogy website:
|Bill Goodman||William Gaw Knox|
Would you consider transferring William Gaw Knox memorial 69733465 to me. He is my Mother's mother's Dad. Guess that makes him my great grandfather! It is great to find his memorial and I thank you very much for creating it.

I don't know if you got into my tree at ancestry.com but if you didn't you can see Dora's mother's memorial on FindAGrave as follows. Maggie R. Viar, Spring Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg, Va. I look forward to seeing what information Doris has.

I would be your mother's 3rd cousin as follows: 2GGParents in common Paulus Rhodes Goings and Lucy Jane Patterson. My line is GGMother Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) Goings and Helen's is her sister Ellen F. (Ella) Goings. Then my grandmother was Edna Lucy Smith and Helen's was her first cousin Maggie R. Viar. These generations lived in central Virgina throughout their lives. Then comes my mother Doris Faye Ewers and Helen's mother Dora C. Viar who were 2nd cousins. Then there's me, Michael E. Lee and your mom Helen Marie Spencer who are third cousins. I have a tree on Ancestry that has this and a lot more in it. Get back with me if you are interested in family history. Be prepared, I have tons of questions about that branch of the family that ended up in Pittsburgh and elsewhere. As for me, I'm still right here in central Va. but at least I'm good for a tour of the area where these folks lived for several generations.

Just a quick note about this man. He was the husband of my great aunt Elsie Muriel Barrett. I didn't know if you want to link them. They also had one son, Harold Wayne

My apologies, but I was looking at other memorials and I noticed that the siblings also include the one that is on the memorial. so the only correction is to remove one of the asterisk of her brother Raymond Dulak.
Thanks for all you do
