I'm Mandy, and I'm a happily married mother of one living in central VA. I've always loved cemeteries, and thanks to this site I've found a great reason to spend my free time there!! Any nice weekend or evening you might run into me and my lovely assistants (son and dogs) at a cemetery in the area.
Currently I am working on documenting, in its entirety, Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, VA. It is the second largest cemetery in Virginia, behind Arlington. This may take a while! I have to give credit to the many members who have listed memorials from Blandford already: Paula, Barbara, George, and many others, but most of all Susan - you are the best!
To my knowledge, I am of no relation to the memorials I've created, except for those listed here. If you find any errors or omissions in any of them, please feel free to contact me and I will correct them expediently.
I prefer that you use the Suggest a Correction function under the "Edit" tab to request additions/changes or transfers - it makes it much easier for me to find the specific memorial that way. If you send me a request and I do not address it within a few days, please re-send! If you re-send and still get no response, go ahead and list my memorial on here, because I'm probably dead. :)
Bryan - Blanford Cemetery Hello Mandy, You took photos of the grave markers for memorials # 42254828 (Viola Bryan) and # 7271072 and # 50262769 (both Clarence Bryan) in Blandford Cemetery. Do you know if the markers for Viola and Clarence are side by side? I am researching them and believe they may be husband and wife. Also is # 42254775 (Clarence Bryan) next to them? I would appreciate any assistance you could provide. Thanks, Jim
Thank You So Much Mandy G., Thanks for tolerating and approving all the edits that I havae submitted. You have done a great job with Blandford Cemetery. I was born and raised in Petersburg, Virginia, and have many relatives and friends buried there. In my spare time, I go on Ancestry.com and do research and I hate for it to all go to waste, so, I am posting mostly edits which are reflected on death certificates. You are one of the few who reviews the edits and approves them in a timely manner. I really do appreciated your efforts. Wilkie Find A Grave Contributor
