Can you tell me anything about the family of
Forest Okey Keifer, children, grandchildren ?
|Waunita M Herron||Joseph Paden,|
Thank you for posting the information and bio for my relative Joseph. I see I made a mistake in the spelling of his father in the (bio) it should be Obediah, not Obadiah. Sorry about that.

I'll be happy to transfer them! Jane (Fife) Espy was my 4th g-grandfather's sister! Did you know their parents were first cousins? Glad to meet you!

I just FINALLY got the edit done that you asked for over a year ago (so sorry!) and wondered if you would like me to transfer the meorials of your 5th g-grandparents to you? I'd be happy to do it. Glad to meet you, cousin, Jane (Fife) Espy was the sister of my 4th g-grandfather, William Fife!
|Waunita M Herron||Elizabeth Paden|
I will be sending you an e-mail, as I just found out that Donald Paden, my distant "cousin", has updated information on the children of Elizabeth and James Paden.
|Waunita M Herron||RE: Elizabeth Paden|
Thank you for the very prompt reply. I am related to the Paden family. Obediah Peden/Paden was my G. Grandmother Rachel Peden Brown's uncle.
Rachel's family, Alexander Peden lived in WA Co. PA, and when her father died she went to visit her cousins, (Obediah Peden/Paden's children) While there she met a family friend of theirs, John Brown and they were married in Tyler Co. WV in July 9th,1827.
I would dearly love to come to WV and see the burial sites, but it is a long ways from the state of WA.
|Waunita M Herron||Elizabeth Paden|
Elizabeth Paden's Find A Grave #30682510, her maiden name was Elison. She was born June 9, 1800 in PA.
She married James Paden on Dec. 22, 1817 in Friendly, Tyler Co. WV. The only know child born to them was Alexander Paden, who died at sea, April 3, 1852. His parents set up a monument for him in the cemetery.
There is much information on the tall monument, if only I could read it in the photo. Is her spouse James Paden buried beside her?
|Janice Dyer Doran||Hi|
I connected Sylvia and Susan to their parents and corrected the dates.
Are they your relatives? If so would you like me to transfer them to you?
Janice Dyer Doran
Looks like your husband and I are related. Joseph and Rebecca are also my 3rd great grandparents. Would love to know more about his connection to the family!
|Jennifer Wilt||Rutherford Cemetery in WV|
Greetings from WV!!!
I recently photographed Rutherford Cemetery and could not find the headstones for John Burk and Hadee Waldeck. There is a separate fenced in area where some of the Burks are buried, but it was fairly grown up and locked. I though I was able to zoom in on all of the headstones, but I may have missed one if it was flat on the ground. Are you sure that they are buried there? If so, I will see if I can locate their markers in the fall when all of the weeds have died.
