Bio Photo Thank you for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this site. It's a fantastic source, if the recorder has the right information. If I have altered dates or names, I apologize. Please contact me and I will make the corrections quickly.
I hope that I will be helpful to someone. I've worked on my family history for over 20 years now and it's amazing the wonderful things a person can learn, that are hidden away in some dusty corner or a dingy file.
When I have used others hard work, I have tried to be courteous and ask for permission to use their information and/or pictures and/or to give credit to them. I want to thank those who have allowed me to use their information, such as the Carroll Co Historical Museum in Delphi, IN and Brad and Ruth Hoggett from the Jefferson and Switzerland Counties in Indiana and other numorous, private individuals. I would appreciate the same courtesy.

Mertie Belle FARRIS
Hi Diana, I don't show this Francis SCOTT married twice. Mertie was born in 1883 and Francis in 1810. That would make Francis 73 yrs old when she had Mertie. So I don't think she is her mother. Let me know what you think about it. Lanny

I'm sorry but I have made a mistake on the Henry C. WILLIAMS listing. I have placed his name on the location for a Henry E. WILLIAMS. Henry E. WILLIAMS is buried in the Burkesville Cemetery, and I believe Henry C. WILLIAMS to be in the Lacy Cemetery with his wife Mary Jane. Henry C. WILLIAMS was the son of Seth and Cynthia WILLIAMS. Henry C. WILLIAMS was born abt. 1836 and died before June 2, 1900. I will change the memorial from Henry C. WILLIAMS to Henry E. WILLIAMS. Sorry for the confusion. I am related to both Henry's. You think that I could keep them straight. Let me know if I can be of any help. Lanny
