NOTE: July 12, 2016 - I just came home from a two week stay in the hospital. To all those who have sent edit requests, please bear with me....I will try to get all requests finished as soon as I am feeling well enough. It may be a while, but I will get them done. Thanks. |
First and foremost, I have no desire to be the highest contributor, but to hopefully assist in filling in the gaps that may someday be priceless to others. My husband and I have spent many hours photographing grave markers & documenting memorials and the best reward is when a family member finds them. We can no longer walk cemeteries to photograph markers, but I still add memorials from time to time.
Obituary photos are copyrighted. so, PLEASE do NOT add these photos to any memorials I have created. Please read FAQ under "Working with Photos":
"ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
In addition, PLEASE DO NOT add death certificates. They are only as accurate as the information given by the informant, and they very often contain inaccurate information. Also, some of the information can be disturbing to some people.
Also, I will not add obituaries unless they are my relation, so PLEASE DO NOT ask me to add them. You will be wasting your time and mine.
Should you find that I have made a mistake entering information or have duplicated an entry please let me know and I will remedy the situation as soon as possible.
All requests should be made using the "Edit" function, and should not be posted on this message page.
Finally, please do NOT add obits, death records, etc. on the "Add a Flower or Note" Option. This is against Find-A-Grave's policy.

I hope you are recovering from your hospital stay. You posted a photo of Sidney Green's grave marker. I am his granddaughter and would appreciate it if you would transfer it to me.
Thank you so much for all you do to find the graves of our family members.
I'm on Ancestry with a tree called Char's Family Tree.
My email address is email@example.com

This is my cousin Joey Holland. We lost track of him way back in 1969. Do you have any more info on him? His headstone says husband. do you know anything about his wife. Any help would be muchly thanked. God Bless. Dee Holland

Let me give it one more attempt, the below two memorials are of the same individual, (Edward Saberton). He was married twice, apparently he had his name added to his first wife's stone when she died. However, he later remarried and his second wife had another stone made and buried him in another cemetery where she was later buried. My suggestion would be to delete memorial 45807294 since Edward Saberton is not buried there.

Edward Saberton has two find a grave memorials. Edward Saberton was married twice, Frances Pearl Harbison Saberton was his first wife. She died in 1908, apparently Edward Saberton had a stone made with the intention of being buried with Pearl when he passed. However, Edward Saberton remarried in 1911 to a Louise Margaret Goerlitz Saberton. Edward Saberton died in 1924 and it appears that Louise had him buried in the Maple Grove cemetery and had a grave stone purchased and installed 49040595. From my research Louise though young never remarried and was buried with her husband Edward Saberton after her death in 1983. My interest is because I have a sister-in-law and Edward Saberton is her 2nd GGF. Do you have any suggestions on how we can resolve this conflict.

|Carin L Baxley||Memorial# 128155257 - Geraldine Bales Kovach|
I believe you have the wrong Geraldine Bales' information listed.
I believe the Geraldine Bales buried in this cemetery is the daughter of Barnett Hoover Bales and Addie Lindo. Geraldine Bales was born on 03 Jul 1921 in Daviess County, Kentucky. She married Michael R. Kovach on 21 Feb 1946 in Evansville, Indiana.
I only found this out because I was following the Mildred Geraldine Bales that you have listed as being buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Evansville.

Thank you for transferring the memorials for Raymond and Gladys Brown. Your help is most appreciated.

|Chris||Pittmans in Park Lawn|
You created the memorial for Lillian D (Pittman) Mills in Park Lawn Cemetery. I believe her parents are buried there, too, as their Browning cards show a "PL" for place of burial. Would you be willing to check the cemetery for record of James H. Pittman (1849-1931) and Sarah (Harwood) Pittman (1857-1935) burials? I was going to add memorials, but I'd like to be certain and to know what plots. Thank you!
