Next to all the wonderful volunteers who will take tombstone photos, I especially like the new link functions and the lengths Findagrave has gone to respect both family and volunteers efforts to create significant memorials while still giving full credit to the original creators both in name and in numbers. Thanks Findagrave!
I would be remiss if I didn't also express my gratitude to ROAGK volunteers who have found burial places and have taken tombstone photos as well, incuring costs for which they get little or no credit.
My hat's also off to findagravers building memorials and virtual cemetery combinations providing a vehicle to greatly enrich other researchers. Their time, energy and expense are also very impressive.
Most but not all of the listings are my ancestral lines. If my family but your connection is closer I will be happy to transfer to you with a very few exceptions in which years of study and collecting documentation and conferring with other long time researchers and genealogists have proven that online family trees are rife with error concerning the individual. Peter Thomas Hull is one of those people.
Corrections or additional info is very welcome
PLEASE use the EDIT/SUGGESTION functions to request links so I don't have to try to read my own awful handwriting and take twenty minutes to do a one minute task. Please include the name of the person with the number. Typos happen.

Thanks so much for your response. It's only been in the last six months that I have discovered more about this family. Our family always went by the surname Gott, and we didn't realize that there was another spelling that many family members used. We always wondered about our roots and are just now discovering them.
I have yet to find the family in a census report in Ireland. Would you please provide a link or tell me how you found them? Also, if you are still interested, I'll be happy to share what I know about James' brothers and sisters. Please let me know, and I can message you privately on Ancestry.

Hello! Just wanted to leave you a note letting you know that I've sent an edit or two your way. F.A.G. doesn't alert you to edits that need to be tended to, but a message does!
|B Jackson||James Gault|
Your biography of James Gault is wonderful and has been most helpful!
James Gault's brother, Irwin, was my great (x's 2) grandfather. I'm trying to trace their parents, William and Margaret (Irvin) Gault/Gott back to Scotland via Ireland. Do you happen to have any information about where they lived in either Scotland or Ireland? Why did they come to Pittsburgh?
Also, William and Margaret (Irvin) Gault/Gott immigrated with Margaret's parents in 1811. All I know is their last name, Irvin (also spelled Irvine) do you happen to know their first names?
Many thanks for any assistance!

Thank you. Hope you get much better soon. I had major surgery in February and it is a slow road.
