His first bill he submitted, sponsored, and was passed was the Virginia Cemetery Bill, which forbade any destruction and/or plowing them under of them!

He alone saved the Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) from being becoming extinct when he was Chairman of Virginian Wildlife. Yes this is the Bird which the Country TURKEY attained that name. Tom, hen , and poults all.

Long Black Veil
Duplicated Memeorial
Thank you for pointing out this duplicated memorial. No way could she had added this memorial that many numbers below the memorial I created.

I was told by other members what this member is doing is making memorials using any names, placing them in some cemetery, then when a obituary is posted she changes the name & dates to fit the name of in the obituary. This is how she gets such low memorial numbers.

I don't know who on Find A Grave to report her to.

Thank you and many blessing

Hi, I am a descendant of William Greene Sr. b1671. I am having a devil of a time finding out anything about him other than his son, Jeremiah and his wife Johanna Burroughs Reeder. What is your source of info tying him to William Greene Jr. b 1702? I would greatly appreciate any info you will share.
please feel free to contact me at
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I redid Douglas Atkins and you referred to him as the other. Who was the first one? You can change that date if you like cause I don't know who it is. I was doing 4 to 5 hundred of these a day especially at West View. About burned me out. No, I don't do this for the numbers. I gladly hand the memorials over except my own family line. I had a lady accuse me of that. So I can and do make mistakes. Sometimes death certs. show different dates than the stones so it's confusing. Thanks for letting me know and please just change the dates on the "other" one. Joy

John Gillon Nisbet
On 3-13-2015 you left flowers, and your contributor name, on John Nisbet's memorial (#123848620). I'm researching this line for my brother in law (and nephew), and am wondering if you might know where the info on John's siblings/parents came from.

The person who originally created the memorial has since passed, and I've found nothing in my research that substantiates any of the family mentioned. Not that I doubt the veracity, but I'd love to know more!

Thanks for whatever you may be able to add!
