RE: 4th Smith Cemetery & Smith Branch Rd. Cemetery
I did 3 different Smith Cemetery's the same day I might have got them backwards. I'll go out again and see if I did. What Memorials do you want me to change?

B. D. Carter transfer
Ronnie,
Thank you so much for the transfer of B. D. Carter's memorial. I hope to work on the Carter cemeteries today and see if I can get the mapping correct so we know who is buried where.

Thank you,
Mary Ann

B. D. Carter
Carter Cemetery - AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your correction - glad that you found B. D. and posted the picture - thank you so very very much for that!

Yes, if you would transfer B. D. (133537331) to me, I will be glad to manage his memorial. My Find A Grave# is 47196378.

I am going to have to do some very serious looking on the location of these two Carter Cemeteries (293 and 383). The mapping of them on Find A Grave does not match where they are mapped in the cemetery book (which is probably why you could not find anything at the location for 383). I did not put the locations in for these cemeteries, but will see what I can do to get them corrected. In the book I see Carter 293 located on Van Dyke Rd. and Carter 383 located in a field south of French Road, but my county map does not show French Road in the same location that it is on the map used in Find A Grave; I have not had that issue to come up before - I had assumed that the maps in Find A Grave came from the county road maps, which is what was used in the cemetery book; but that may not be the case. According to the cemetery book you would not have been able to find a cemetery at the location given for Carter 383 in Find A Grave - which is exactly what happened.

It's bad enough that we have FIVE Carter Cemeteries; we certainly don't need the additional confusion of having them mapped wrong!

Again, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will check on it and see if I can straighten out whatever has been messed up.
