|Sean Paul Murphy||RE: Mount Auburn|
Congratulations on your good work. I had been doing the same thing and managed to document about nine hundred graves. But now there were more graves visible now since the prisoners have begun working. Hopefully they will keep it clean.
As you might know, I have recently completed a feature length documentary about the cemetery. It has been playing in film festivals around the country and recently won a "Best Documentary" award.
I hope the film will ultimately bring national attention to the cemetery and lead to further restoration.

Nancy, I was impressed to see how many names you added to Mount Auburn cemetery. Are you using the cemetery records?
|Laura Stevens||RE: Joseph L. Cahall|
Thank you so much!

Hi Nancy, I was wondering if I could post your picture (giving you photo credit) of the memorial you have for Joseph Cahall, memorial #35974616. There is an epitaph in our cemetery here in town #63322629, where he was born and I think it would be great to have that info on his memorial page for his hometown. Could you please link him to his parents, mother Elizabeth 50628821, and father Lawrence, 50628848. Thank you!

Gridley is my ggg grandfather.

He was born in 1794 not 1749. The Veterans Administration made a mistake when I ordered it in 1996. He was my 3great grandfather.

THANK YOU so very much for your kind transfer of this memorial to my care.
With my sincere appreciation,
|Ron Robinson||William Dennis|
Thank you for the transfer.

The year of death must have been 1962, not 1961. The obituary was published in The Sun (Baltimore) 4 September 1962: 24. The obituary does indicate that the date of death was September 1.
Interesting. All the information I got came from the tombstone itself. I have transferred you the memorial.

William Dennis #68076178, buried in Western Cemetery, is my great-great grandfather. I would really appreciate it if you could transfer this memorial to me. Thank you vey much.
