February 5, 1915. … Ahalt--Roelkey.
A very pretty wedding took place last Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd R. Roelkey, on the “McDuell Homestead,” near Knoxville, when their daughter, Miss Olive May, became the bride of Mr. Earl Mathias Ahalt … [BRUNS CITZ 12FEB2015]

Words cannot express how grateful I am for this photo of my great uncle's grave. Never in a million years did I ever expect to find where he was buried. Thank you from the bottom of my family's heart!

Sincerely,
Amira Saran

Viewed my great grandfather's cemetery marker at Mt. Auburn.Any idea what it says at the bottom of the marker? I would appreciate a response as I am working on my family tree.

Isaac Stansbury
Nancy I have just added a photo to Isaac's memorial. The place name is incorrect it should read Eden Mill not Eden Hill. The property was more than 200 acres in size and the brick house Elijah W. Stansbury built was known as Stansbury Mansion. Locate at 1616 Eden Mill Road Pylesville Harford County Maryland.(on the north side of Eden Mill) The Cemetery's ornate iron gate has the name of the Cemetery as Stansbury Burying Ground.( I'm posting that picture as well on find-a-grave) In the center of the gate is a large eagle with torches on either side. There is a round shell pattern over the name Stansbury. At the very top is a rose. The cemetery is situated on the top of a hill (now returned to forest). and faces Deer Creek, upstream from the mill and mill pond. When I was there in 2014, I found four marked graves that remain, with foot stones, but it is obvious that there were a number other family members buried in this grave yard. If the cemetery was cleared other markers may be discovered. Thanks for creating this memorial. Kenneth Fawcett

Bennett Wheeler (Memorial #51972422)
Are you related to Bennett Wheeler (Memorial #51972422), and if so, how are you related?

Bennett is my gggrandfather, thru his son Michael Ignatius Wheeler.

If Bennett Wheeler isn't a part of your family would you please consider transferring his memorial to me, Diane Keiser (#46615652)? It would be greatly appreciated.
