Arthur Henry Witte
Hi there just wanted to let you know, you have Arthur Henry Witte born in 1895, he was actually born 6 Feb 1896 and also the death date is incorrect, he died Feb of 1977 not 1979...Just an FYI...

First, thank you for photographing headstones at Marseilles. May I use your photos of the Shelton family for my public family tree? I will credit you and findagrave. Thanks for your consideration ~Lisa

Burkhart Photos
Thank you so much for photographing my Burkhart ancestors graves. I really do appreciate your doing this. I think that I was last in Marseilles in the late 1990's. The photos that I took then are on 35mm and were never scanned into a computer.
I have also found my great grandfather's sister, Estelle G. Churchill (memorial #32575616) buried in the Riverview Cemetery. My records however show her name as Garnett Estelle, so there was some confusion until I sorted things out.

Also my maternal grandfather's brother's son, John G. Campbell Jr. (memorial #32559725) is buried in this cemetery. He was the Funeral Director at Marseilles until his death in 1983. Not sure if his wife, Arlene (memorial #32555766) is still living or not. She was born in 1924 making her 90 this year. No date of death is shown.

RE: Bosworth Marseilles, Illinois
Hello Colleen,

Thank you. That was very kind of you. I've been working on researching all the Bosworth lines, getting them updated and linked when possible. I appreciate your contributions. Thanks again!

Brundage Headstone/ LaSalle County, IL
Hello Colleen,
Thank you for photographing the Brundage headstone. Could I have your permission to use it in my family tree. Not direct line, but a great (x4?) uncle.
Thank you, Bonnie B.

RE: Beulah B Downey
Hello again,
Regarding Beulah, I checked the SSDI and she died in April 1982 in Ottawa. So the obituary probably came from an April or early May edition of the Ottawa "Times." The Ottawa library may have an index to the obituaries and microfilm of the papers. I don't say this from knowledge, but only because I know that both Streator and Pontiac have such arrangements.

RE: Beulah B Downey
Hi: I apologize if this is a duplicate message. I do not know the name of the newspaper or the date of its publication. Somewhere, years ago, I found the clipping among other items received from Downey relatives and/or my mother's belongings (her mother was Catherine Downey Turner). I will check with the few Downey relatives that I still have contact with. Sorry,
Francis Nolan
