Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Harrison Township, MI (suburb outside of Detroit), and have been working on my family tree and my husbands family tree for over 10 years now. I love using cemetery records to enhance my trees and am always excited at the prospect of meeting these important family members for the first time.

My main family branches are Kargol, Boda, Sobieski, Narkiewicz, Szczesny, Lempicki, Roman, Marchik and Hapanowicz, and are for the most part, from Poland and Slovakia, immigrating to Pennsylvania and then on to Hamtramck (Detroit) MI. My husband's family are immigrants to Ontario, Canada from Ireland, England and Scotland and they are Casey, Heffernan, Fitzgerald, Gray, Pallister and Marvel families.

Pictures on my memorials are from my personal family albums. Please do not use without an okay from me first. I have seen pictures taken from my memorials used without permission and sometimes used incorrectly. Please, ask first.

RE: Narkey/Narkiewicz family
My sister has put together a website which has scores of Polish names. It is a result of more that 10 years of research indexing names. She is currently looking into the town of origin of the Narkiewicz family. Please visit her website at:

Narkiewicz
HI. Thank you for the message regarding the duplicate grave for Anthony J. Narkiewicz. I am the niece by marriage (my Aunt was Irene Wisneski Narkey)and therefore put in his original name. How are you related to the Narkiewicz (Narkey) family?

Paula

Thanks for the work you have done creating the memorials at St. Mary's Cemetery.

I'm rolling through some distant Elgie cousins and their spouses families so there will be more over the next days.

I'm adding memorials as I find the information in the Death Registrations, Holy Name R.C. Church Burial Registers and on other sites.

Regards,

Bruce

RE: Czulinski, Bernard and Patronella
Hello,
Who is your grandfather, Great Uncle Bill or Great Uncle Chester? I did not really know either except at weddings or funerals when I was a small child.
You're correct. I am granddaughter to Mary Sobieski Czulinski and Bernard & Patronella are my parents.
My father had two sisters, Janina who died as toddler and Clara who was married with a child when she died. I think Clara lived in Waukegan, Illinois when she died. Her daughter's name is Bonnie. I never met either of them but was a pen pal with Bonnie in my early teens. I cannot remember her last name. It was searching for more info about Clara and Bonnie that led me to this "Find a Grave" site. I recall a story of my father traveling to IL to bring Clara back to MI for burial.
This site gave me a lot of info about Grandma Mary's parents that I did not know. And I saw a reference to my Aunt Clara predeceasing her grandfather (d.1953) Konstanty Sobieski.
Thanks for contacting me. I am Elizabeth Ann Czulinski Manian and called Libby.

RE: Maryanna Dabrowski Narkiewicz
Thank you very much for your information. It is much appreciated. Do you have any photographs of Maryanne and Anthony by any chance? Do you also know how they managed to get to the USA and why they left Poland.

Kind regards,

Aleksandra
