Before my mom passed away I started on the journey to discover my family ancestors. I don't remember how I was put in touch with my cousin but we meet about 5 years ago. |
That meeting started me especially after the phone call to my mom. They talked for two hours and I spent the next day gathering photos of people she remembered. The past came to life for her when I brought them home. She enjoyed them for almost 2 years before she graduated to higher ground.
What was interesting is that the past also became part of my present. Now as of August 10, 2008, the tree is being redone. However, this wonderful resource was found as well as an increase of information. The tree now stands at 6,011 people. It grows every day with new discoveries. All because of a computer crash new life is growing. With the help of others for every question answered ten more come up.
For that reason I am glad to experience the ever expanding network on this long journey. As they say many hands make work lite. Lets all work together and see what else can be found.
Thanks a million times something,

So, thank you for your help and guidance on this one.
|Deb Lynch||Isaac Suman|
is this page a relative, or just one you sponsored? I think he is my 3rd gr grandfather. His daughter Sarah Suman Clark (grave in Fort Wayne) is not on your list. If you are on Ancestry, my tree is LynchFortWayne. I decided to just search for Sumans buried in Ohio, and found your page. I have a completely wrong date of death.
|Clayton Tongate||Possible transfers|
I am hoping that you may transfer some of my family members to me. You can email me anytime. Thanks- Clayton
|lisse||Mary Ann Carter Easley|
I have done some research and I think that for your bio you confused Mary Ann with a different Mary. I have submitted corrections via the edit tab so you should be getting those but the bio I don't think we can do a lot with. I think you are right to delete and I am still researching so we can correct soon.
Thank you again for all you have done and for all your cooperation. I am familiar with this cemetery and plan to photograph many of the graves soon, so be prepared to be bugged by me! Let me know if I can be of any help to you.

|alice hurst||Vera Lash|
Doug, When you get time would you go out to the Mason city cemetery & locate Vera Lash grave & make a picture of her head stone. finda a grave has her death in 1911 I believe it is. She is a child. I don't know when she was born. I believe she is the daughter of Cynthia & Edward franklin lash who moved to Missouri some time after her death. They are buried in Cass county Missouri. I would like to tell lash family in Missouri when "little Vera" is buried but I need to see the headstone before I say anything to them.
I requested someone to make a picture but it seems no one has picked up the request. So if you can do that I would really appreciate it. "Little Vera" was my grandfather's half sister's daughter & this grave site will finish my finding where all the family is buried. Thanks, Alice
