|I will be willing to take photos anywhere in Lee County, Iowa. Right now, my project is to photograph all of Elmwood Cemetery in Fort Madison, on my lunch hour. Slow going, but someday I'll get there. Then I'll start on City!! Update - what started out as just intending to photograph Elmwood Cem. has turned into a lot of linking and research. I can't help myself! If any of these are your relatives, I'll be glad to transfer to you, even if it is out of the guidelines, if I'm not a direct ancestor. Then we'll discuss it.. LOL Getting close to being done with Elmwood, working some on City now too! |

PS. Thank you for posting the photo on John Zwalds memorial. I love photos but have none from Lee county. I had been hoping to visit but over the last two years I have become disabled.

Hi. The Lee county indices list Moon cemetery. I know about her name on her husbands memorial in Elmwood cemetery. Remember she was one of the Moon family Also.
Are you a Zwald descendant? I have been researching in Lee county like forever! I was informed one of my ancestors stone has been lost there in Elmwood. I would be interested in your results. Thanks
I've deleted my duplicate memorial as requested, Thanks for the heads up.
Please add her daughters link to yours

Thanks so much for making my edits for Sarah so quickly. I really appreciate it.
Have a great day,
Just wanted to give you a little heads-up about the person who criticized you. A message from that same person regarding a valid SAC that I had sent was "Go stuff it up your rear lady! I have had enough of your bossiness."

While I very much appreciate the photo you added to my memorial for Opal Lee (Prough) Shumaker #88759950 I was really hoping you might try to get a better one now that the SNOW is gone. Since Opal's stone is a black glossy stone the snow and other objects are reflected in it so please check for that as well and I was also hoping you might move the flowers so I could see the dates on Opals side of her stone. If it is possible for you to retake the photo at some point please read my bio. area as I have included a few other preferences of mine when taking a cemetery photo. Thanks for your efferts in this matter. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.
