As a descendant of many of the memorials I have placed on Findagrave (FAGrv), I wish to foremost, honor their lives & memories by adding as much as I can to their pages.
As a dilettante genealogist I love to delve into family history.
My circle of family names include.
(All families living in New England
or with Northern US roots).
Parkinson, Allen, Batchelder, Bartlett
& Leroy (NY & New England)
Babcock, Clark, Tyrer, Knight,
Wilbur & Irish families (ditto)
Earl family of Western NY,PA & NJ
Waite & Buchanan
(Related to the Earl family)
Ahles, Warner & Reuter
(German immigrants to Western NY)

If you wish to add information or wish to have memorials transfered please use the
SUGGESTION LINK (SAC Suggest A Correction)

Findagrave has guidelines for transfers
(4 generations I think). I will gladly extend beyond the 4 Gen's if you are a serious researcher. Also I believe, that if you wish to honor a deceased distant relation (or a friend) than I will not stand in the way of your efforts.
Some people believe transfer requests should not be made for memorials of friends or for family surnames strictly for genealogical purposes. I don't buy this notion! I believe that genealogists help us as a connection between the living & the dead, distinguishing who we are & whence we came. So, if you are researching a family name & see that I have entered numerous surnames of interest, I would be happy to transfer the whole lot to you
(unless of course I am also researching the same name).
I would be be most grateful if other people would allow me the same courtesy. :^)

The Wiesental~Springville connection

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I am no longer able to do lookups & genealogical searches for other families research.
This also includes going to Libraries, Courthouses, & Cemeteries to search for records & tombstone information.

I will still make additions & corrections to FAGrv [only using the SAC's (Suggest A Correction) edit link]. When you SAC it is important to be signed on to Findagrave & if you are suggesting family links, please give the name of the person to be linked, their relationship & their memorial number (this makes the process so much easier :^). PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME DIRECTLY ASKING FOR FAGrv CORRECTIONS. Due to the large number of SAC's requests that I receive daily, It may take up to 30 days for memorials to be updated.
AGAIN, USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION for both updates requests and transfer requests. This provides me with both the memorial link and the link to your member number, and then I do not have to search for either item.
Requests left on my "leave a message" page will be at the bottom of my priority list. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

I will try to leave a message on the requesters FAGrv homepage when I have completed the task & I will also try to add data from SAC's to
WeRelate is a free public-service wiki for genealogy sponsored by the Foundation for On-Line Genealogy in partnership with the Allen County Public Library. It is the world's largest genealogy wiki with pages for over 2,065,000 people and growing. WeRelate is currently in beta. It is supported by volunteers and your tax-deductible donations.
Please check into this free website & consider sharing your memorial information with other researchers.

I do have quite a collection of cemetery records & photos of burials in Concord, Collins & parts of Sardinia/ Boston/ Colden (Erie Co., NY) cemeteries.
I'm slowly adding these records to FAGrv & again as time permits.
My wife & I have submitted many of these records to the Town of Concord Genealogy Library aka

I want to thank you for taking a photo of my aunt's headstone, Mary Jane GERBER, in the St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Cemetery in Springville, NY and posting it to this site. I also volunteer for Find A Grave and was very delighted and surprised to find one of my own relatives that I have not photographed yet. I very much appreciate your efforts.

RE: Aunt Catherine & Uncle Almer
So very nice to meet you, Thomas! I don't know if I've ever met you before or not. But if I have, I was a young child at the time and don't remember. I think you are Wayne and Dorothy's son, right? I absolutely adore them both. How are they doing?

If you have any other photos with Catherine or her ancestors in them, I'd love to see them. I've already showed my mother the two you have posted of the Parkinson family. It is so amazing to see these photos! Also interesting is that my uncle, Almer and Catherine's son, Dean, looked exactly like John Parkinson's mother, Sarah Tryer Parkinson. I have a photo of him if you'd like to see.

Thank you!
Thank you so very much for posting photos of my grandparents, Almer Lillie and Catherine Parkinson Lille's grave stone and the Parkinson family photo. It means more than words can say to see my grandmother's beautiful face again. I've never seen a photo of her so young. Absolutely amazing. Thank you!

RE: Charlotte Toynbee Hawkins
You're very welcome.

I've finished adding 98% my photos to White and Pleasant Hill Cemetery. I just have a few markers left that are broken and/or difficult to read.

I did create a memorial for Harriet Robert Hawkins in Hillside Cemetery in Coloma last August. Harriet was the wife of Horace Josiah Hawkins. There is no DOD on her marker, but I added her as "interment assumed".

Do you know anything about her? Is she a relative of yours? If you'd like a transfer, let me know.

The transfer has been made. I'm still working on processing more photos from White Cemetery and nearby Pleasant Hill Cemetery. If I find anymore members of the HAWKINS family, I will let you know.

If he is a relative and you would like a transfer, please let me know.

With regard to George in Mapleview Cemetery, you have as adopted son of Phillip and Anna Mary do you know where they are buried by chance? Anna was married before to a Mr. Bayliss and had a son George J Bayliss. I know Anna died before 1900 and Phillip after. Any info would be great.

Thank you in advance,

Greenwood Cemetery
Many thanks for your willingness to have your Greenwood Cemetery Photos, with your full credit given as the photographer, to my Tuttle ancestors information on their family tree on Much appreciated. This looks like such a beautiful old cemetery and area of the country I hope to visit someday but for now I help here in Massachusetts when people need cemetery photos.
