Genealogy is one of my hobbies, the others being Jane Austen, movies, website design, and my job.|
And, of course, I love visiting cemeteries and photographing headstones for people. There are some cool, out-of-the-way country cemeteries here in Mississippi, so it's sort of a road trip and a scavenger hunt rolled into one, and you can't beat the feeling of helping people!
If you are the friend or relative of anyone on a record I've added, I will be glad to transfer the admin/ownership over to you, so just let me know. I'm not here for the numbers.
Feel free to use any photo I've uploaded to this site for your family tree on Ancestry or wherever. You don't have to ask. Credit would be nice, but it's not like I'm going to go looking.
The link on my profile will take you to the genealogy site I maintain for my family.
In memory of my sister, Emma Louise Baldwin King (1988-2011), and my dad, Robert Barton Baldwin (1948-2015).

|Angela Mahmarian||my gt gt grandmother|
You have no idea how long my cousin and I have been searching for our Gt Gt Gt Grandmother's grave. We cannot thank you enough for posting her gravestone pic. For years we have looked in Stafford,Texas, where she died and just last year found court records that said her casket was sent to Mississippi, but we could not find any record of her over there. We knew her son lived in Clay county but hadn't found his gravesite either. My cousin in Maine saw that you posted it in June. You have made us so happy and especially my Father, who has obsessed about this for years. He is on up in years and not in the best of health, so I am so happy to be able to solve this mystery before his death.
|P. Eadie||Anne Pfeffer Hamilton, Westminster Cemetery|
We just returned from Westminster Cemetery where cemetery records confirm that Anne is buried in the Bartram Section, plot 595 with Andrew (1910) and Elizabeth (1928). Unfortunately, Anne's information is not inscribed on the gravestone. I would be willing to upload this photo to her memorial site or email it to you for viewing if you would like. Please advise. Pat

DeeDee - Thanks so much for the photos of my Simmons kin in West Point. Those requests had been out there for so long that I had forgotten about them, so the messages I got this morning that my requests had been fulfilled was quite a nice surprise! Your kind help is appreciated. Rick
