Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone. |
If you want a photo officially request one, don't bury your request in a spouse or another family members photo request.
Too many volunteers are now asking for other volunteers to do their research, please try and do your own on your time.
I take responsibility ONLY for the information obtained from the headstone unless otherwise specified by me. There are very few exceptions.
Due to the changes and procedures for adding addition information it is very time consuming to include the source. Find A Grave DOES NOT provide a way to show where the information comes from.
In light of these changes and the automated edit system, which makes it almost impossible to deny acceptance of changes and addition, I have been transferring all memorial pages to those wishing to make edits. This too has become too time consuming.
Therefore, in order to include the changes whether the information is CORRECT OR NOT I feel I am being forced to accept all edits. I hate this part because I have had quite a few people send edits only to resend two or three times in order to make corrections.
If you find errors send corrections but do not, I repeat DO NOT ask me about the information posted or hold me responsible for the additions. This goes against all genealogical best practices, but the only other solution would be to take down all the memorials and pictures I have posted.
If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.
I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.
SHOULD YOU WISH TO MANAGE A MEMORIAL PAGE, PLEASE JUST ASK FOR A TRANSFER.

Karen, thank you for taking the photos of the Clampett headstones for me, your efforts are appreciated. Is it OK to use the pictures in my genealogy files?
|G. Lester||Thanks for Photos|
Karen: Thanks for the grave photos of Henrick Odegard, Ethel Wilson, and John McAlister.
Thank you, once again, for the beautiful photo. It is much appreciated.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for posting the photo of Lou Lou's headstone on her memorial page. It really means so much to me to have it, and to know that she is remembered.
Thank you for everything you do.

Thank you for taking the time to post the information about John B Castell # 118252459. He is my 3rd gr-grandfather. (I'm not asking for a transfer.)
I was wondering if I could use your photo of his headstone for my family tree on Ancestry.com? I didn't want to upload it if you wouldn't allow it.
Thank you for the Picture.
