Hello John, Nice to meet a long lost cousin. Isam & Nancy are my 3rd great grands. Have you had any luck in locating their stone? I live in Kingman, AZ with my spouse who is retired. I've been doing genealogy since I was 18. It's nice to see all the hard work you have put into this memorial.

You are welcome

I am a volunteer research for the East Tn. History Center working on a registry of the graves of Civil War soldiers. Since you are related to him, I have transferred him to you. I am always happy when one of my many soldiers is found by his family.

Hello, John(1816-1880) is my 2nd great grandfather. I am curious about the dates you have listed in Find a Grave for his birth and death. Do you have documented resources for these dates. If so, would you share that info? I would also be interested on any other info yo may have about him and his wife Elizabeth. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the photos of headstones for this family and preserving them on line. It appears they are almost lost to time and you rescued them for future family members and for others to see & research. Thank you very much!! Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

You posted a photo of John's memorial on findagrave for me. The other day I received an email from Plitzko Mollie in Germany asking me if I knew what the word was that is carved above the pointing hand on the marker. I couldn't tell either. Could you help us, especially since you live in Spencer?
