Thanks for catching this. I had computer problems when I was working with her and forgot to go back and finish the job. I have the links done.

RE: Anton Lahmeyer picture
You are very welcome. It is our honor and my pleasure to take part in honoring our veterans like SSGT Lahmeyer this way.

It grows out of my own genealogy pursuits. While looking for some resources outside where I am doing my ancestral works I found in a group of search results a listing for Find A Grave. It sounded like just what I was looking for, and turned out to be so.

I immediately saw this as a way of "paying it forward" for all the help I have been given free of charge mostly. So I signed up right away to be a photographer. I believe in Find A Grave. It provides a wonderful service to help those who have lost loved ones to be able to visit the grave site of their loved one from literally all around the world.

It is also an incredible genealogy tool that is one of the decreasingly few that are still free. I am honored to be able to do this. It is actually a sort of hobby partnership for me and my wife.

I am disabled and cannot drive or get around on my own. In fact, I am literally homebound due to some of my medical issues it is difficult being around people. Well, in fact it can sometimes be deadly. I have severe MCSD. I don't leave the home except to go to the Doctor. This provided me the chance to go out into the real world and do something exciting and helpful. It really gives me a wonderful sense of fulfillment.

After ruining my electric scooter, that medicare will not replace, on my first two outings we had to make some changes. So my wife handles the actual photography and I take care of the admin work and processing of the photos.

We always try to go the extra mile. I know that many just take a snapshot and post it in whatever condition but Karen and I take care about it. We clean them off as best we can so they are free of debris and dirt etc before taking the pics. Then when I process them I do everything I can to bring out the information as clearly as possible. Sometimes they require a great deal of editing and re-editing, but we want to provide something that we are proud to say we did it.

We also always check to see if there is a wife on the stone whether front or back and take that as well. If the spouse does not have a memorial, we create one for them

Vohs daughter
The obit also said she had cared for a sick daughter 2 years before in Red Bird and the daughter Anna listed was at home. Which left me wondering if she was one of the 7 deceased children. Then I saw an entry that the boys has visited their sister Mrs. Wm. Scheel. I found Lizzie Scheel in the same cemetery having died in 1914. After a little playing with the last name spelling, I found her death certificate listed as Lizzie Angeslia Schul (Scheel is the correct spelling)Born in Owensville on Aug 25, 1886 and died in Gasconade Co Aug 25, 1914 but says age 27 y, 11 m, and 19 days so I am thinking the birthdate may be wrong.Parents Albert Vohs and Leana Parsh both from Germany. She died of TB of the lungs.

Also on the 1900 census there is a Louise A. age 14 and Amanda C age 6 (same age listed for Julius).

Also 1900 Census says Albert immigrated in 1878

Wilbert Wilkins.
"Sorry Lyle & Marsha, I gave you the wrong parents for Wilbert. The correct parents are Henry F Wilkens #54305042 and Gesina Biehle Wilkens #42209807. Sorry for the confusion, I must have been tired when I was working on this."
You might want to check the mother, again, it may be the wrong number.
