If you have ancestors from Poland, I am interested in the following families: Kwosek(Kossek), Kokott, Grola, Bienusa, Bryniok (Briniak), Soppa, Marsolek, Kociok, Frydel, Pawolek and Witek. Any information you have on those families could be of interest to me. And, I'll gladly share any and all information I have on those same families.

|Fawn||RE: LeDuc/Le Duc|
Would you please remove your edits for the LeDuc's as I put a note on each of the memorials.
Added by Fawn on May 13, 2015 2:33 PM
Bill, I see that you have sent a considerable amount of edits for a correction on the LeDuc surname. I have done research on this surname, as it is in my family tree. I find it to appear on primary records with no space between. Many times they put a space on the marker to indicate that it is a lower case letter followed by an upper case letter. I would like to hear why you want me to change all of the surnames. I'll be waiting to hear from you before I do anything with the edits.

Halvorson burials. 92245692 Did you mean it should be Marlys Hintzman? Did you mean there were two memorials? Not clear. Good to see more gravestone photos as this cleans up many spelling and date errors. When the cemetery was read, ideally they would have taken photos and saved multi corrections! Thanks for the edits!

|Cyndi Berg Jearman||Norden cemetery|
Hi Bill. My relatives at Norden are gr gr grandparents Torgrim Thompson Berget & Berget Knudtson Berg and gr gr grandparents Andrew (185046) and Olia Dahl mostly, with a few others sprinkled in. There are a lot of Dahl ancestors there, not as many of Berg. I have special attachment there for some reason, just like the feeling I get there. It's close to my grandpa's old farm. They were on Eleva side of church, closer to Chimney Rock. Norden was one of first cemeteries I spent time in when I started my hobby a couple years ago. At the time, I had no idea how close Pleasant Valley and Drammen were (until I drove there last year). I knew East Bennett Valley cemetery was close and I have a few relatives there, wow is that a pretty drive and view there! I lived in Eau Claire area as a kid and my grandparents lived in Strum and Pigeon Falls at that time. I also have great grandparents from Blair and a lot of relatives buried (Hanson, Thompson, Olson) in Zion and Resthaven. Looking for them has gotten me involved in the search at those and other local cemeteries. My grandma still lives in Strum, and I have many many ancestors in the Strum cemeteries, including Hamlin, another cemetery so pretty. . I live in Texas now, so only get up north a few times a year. I try to stop at my cemeteries at least once a year. I will see if I can get an index for Blair and enter more. Thank you so much for your interest, I would love to see photos! I don't get to Blair very often. sincerely. Cyndi
