Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am not related to anyone in the Connerville Cemetery and will be happy to transfer memorials to family members. When I learned that there were not pictures of a lot of the markers, I decided to take them. (I'm about 2/3's done so if you have someone buried in this cemetery, please check back later.)

RE: Amanda Dees
You are welcome, mcphail. I searched different area in New Hope for Amanda Dees, but I have been told that she never had a headstone. However, it's possible she may be near her family members.

RE: McPhail
No. A John and a Duncan, but not a Francis Marion. My McPhails married Warrens and lived in Sampson County, NC. Sorry I can't help!

RE: Mary Dorman
You are quite welcome! I have McPhail on my mother's maternal side, so I thought I might see if we had a connection. Don't know yet!

Hi,
Is the fellow who died in 1999 the father of an Anson III? I met a young man years ago...

Ira Hurst
I remember he was a gentle giant, a very large man but very soft spoken. He was always coming or going to some farming chore. I particularly remember watching from their back porch one day while he caught a chicken for dinner. That was my first sight of the quick spin way of removing a chicken's head. Ira was big enough to really hurl them.
Family gatherings in Ness City included May and Ira and my other great aunt and uncle, Lucille and John Schultz. May and Lucille were sisters.
Ira and John helped each other with large farming jobs.
