Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love researching genealogy for myself and others. I am totally addicted! It is difficult balancing a full time job, family, and a new favorite hobby! I find myself staying up late looking for that little bit of information that could answer questions and lead to a whole new path in my family tree!

*If I take a picture that you don't like, please let me know. I will gladly go back and take another.

**If I've added something to a loved one's memorial that you don't like, I will gladly remove it.

***I also don't mind looking up obituaries for Deschutes County Oregon. Or using my newspaper subscription to search for people all over the US!

****I also make the occasional trip to the state archives to look up death certs. Let me know if I can find one for you. They have to be 50 years or older. So 1965 or older.

Feel free to use my pictures of your ancestors in your genealogy quest! I will transfer management of memorials who are not related to me.

West Lawn
If I still lived in Eugene, I'd be happy to get a photo for you even though it is a big cemetery. Maybe someone will add your photo request to their list....it is worth a try! Good luck. Karen

New IOOF Cemetery
A first it was a mystery for me, too. That's actually West Lawn Cemetery in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. It can be confirmed by performing a cemetery search for West Lawn on Find A Grave and there is a note to that effect! Karen

Harvey McDaniel
Yes, Alexanders son Harvey was born 22 November 1850 in Pennville, Nottingham Township, Wells County, Indiana. He passed away in 1919 in Seiling, Dewey, Oklahoma. I have a photo of his tombstone and a family photo of his family posted on my Ancestry tree. He was married to Mary Dawley, whom I also related too. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I'm not on the computer every day and here latley work has taken priority over my researching. Hope this helps you.

RE: Help!
Hi--I will be happy to look them up--but I won't be there until next week. We are helping a friend put on an auction this Sunday. We have been busy setting it up and then we will store the rest of her stuff at our house!! I finally cleaned out a bedroom--I had been meaning to do that for 2 years! When I clean a room, I CLEAN it to the walls!! I'll get them to you ASAP! Yes, it was nice to talk to you! It is nice to finally meet someone who has e-mailed me before. Thanks, Diana

RE: Mansell
Thank you for your kind words Carisa. No I'm not related. I have a microfilm reader at home and I spent a lot of time "reading" the early day newspapers and gleaning information from them. Trust me, I know about every horse thief and buggy accident in town. LOL. The newspaper then was certainly the Facebook of its day. Anytime I find something in the paper concerning a person, whether it be their death or other event (yes, even the buggy accidents), I add it to my pages. The things I find in the local paper would remain largely unknown if I didn't add them. Create a virtual cemetery and add her to it and then occasionally check back. She died in 1907 and it won't be long before I go through that paper. Surely I'll find an obit. Or leave a flower on the page and I'll try to remember to get back in touch with you if I find it.
Best regards,
Nancy

Carisa. Sorry it took me so long to make the corrections. I have been out of town this week. I added the links and changed the wording on the bio. I appreciate your information and have made changes in my own tree
