Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family's genealogy for about 15 years, and it's very enjoyable; actually, it's quite addictive! We even held a first Family Reunion for one branch of the family--not an easy thing to do, but VERY worthwhile. I love doing research and visiting cemeteries, and hopefully helping others find their loved ones' graves and memorials, as Find-A-Grave members have helped me find mine. This is such a wonderful website!

No apologies necessary! I just suggest the elimination of the dupes when I see them. A merger is a great idea.

I will have to check with family again. They told me she was there. I went on their word. Thanks. I will check this out with them.

169067216 Melvin Henry Taylor

I want to 'Thank You' so very much for the transfer of the above listed memorial.... Most of all I want to thank you for finding the gravesite & posting a picture of the headstone! I often wondered where Melvin's grave was as my grandfather told in his story that the family were in Oregon in 1877.... Either he got his dates wrong or they went back to CA to bury Melvin in the cemetery where there were 'family' buried.

Blessings 😇

169067216 Melvin Henry Taylor
The above number memorial is the son of my great grandparents James Oscar Taylor and fanny Jane MAKEE Taylor.... It is confusing as there are two (2) James Oscar Taylor.... They are related one was born in 1844 (not mine) Who married Jenny ..... My Gr. Grandfather's son... My grandfather Harry Taylor, wrote a story about his father & mother's life... Which included the birth and death of his brother Melvin Henry Taylor... :

In 1872 Father was married to Fanny Jane Makee. His first born was a daughter, Mary Taylor. Two years later a son, who died at 2 years old:

Memorial 169067216
Melvin Henry Taylor born 25 Jan 1875 in Slough House, Sacramento Co., CA and died 5 Jul 1877.

I grandfather may have some of that facts a little bit off .... but the information is Undeniably there 😇

I have entered an 'edit' for 'Melvin Henry Taylor' on his memorial... Please accept....

Thank you,
