East Lawn--again!
Should have checked in advance, but I see you have already fulfilled photo requests at East Lawn. Didn't mean to come on strong, but some volunteers have been threatened and just wanted to make sure you remained safe!

East Lawn Cemetery Tucson
Saw that you want to fulfill the photo requests for East Lawn Cemetery. Good luck! Actually, I hope you are very successful, but a word of caution. . .

Sometime in the recent past (3-10 years ago), the cemetery caught a woman desecrating a grave. Turns out it was the ex-wife of the deceased. Police were called, cemetery sued the woman for trespassing, etc. So, as you may already know, the cemetery is very cautious about giving out grave locations--assuming they do at all--and, if they do, they will only tell you where 2 or 3 are located.

When you go, wear a t-shirt, hat, article of clothing for someplace out of state, let the cemetery office draw their own conclusions. Also, have a very plausible yet vague story about why you want to visit the graves, such as you are in town for several days and your family back in X mentioned you have relatives buried there. DO NOT MENTION, hint at, allude to taking pictures or any website. If you are fortunate to get grave locations, please double check there isn't a cemetery worker nearby to see a camera or the holding of a smart phone like a camera.

I hope you have success, but please tread lightly!

OH, THANKS for volunteering to photograph Sandy's marker...!! One request: Take some grass trimmers with you to clear the grass that has a tendancy to grow profusely across her marker (as I noted when I was there six years ago)..Thanks so much...!!! RICHARD
