Sharla, I am researching the Duggins family, Florence Duggins Hafen is the mother of John and Leo Hafen and I noticed in the obit for Leo Eric Hafen, memorial # 129564300, that Leo is survived by his father John and I wondered if you have any info on John, I would appreciate it. I do not have any dates or anything. You can email me if you prefer at

Thank you for the transfer, that was very kind of you. I'll take very good care of them.

When I return I'll get pictures of William and Genevieve LeForge too.

I also submitted a link for William to his mother and father.

You're very welcome. Dennis was one of my big brother's friends. Thank you for creating his memorial. I'll go back out to the cemetery in about a month or so and see if his name plate has been placed on the crypt.

I also got a picture of Dennis and his Corvair race car but I don't think it will scan nice.

Honoring those who have gone before.

I met Louis about 10 years ago at a benefit for our Blue Star families and I have kept them close ever since. They are wonderful people and I appreciate their hard and and endeavoring service.

Thank You
Thank you for the OBIT about Ada Cranor. Seeing the grave marker photo again reminds me of the circumstances. The photo obviously was taken at an oblique angle, which is not how I normally take photos. There is a substantial cedar bush/tree greatly hanging over the marker. I had to push the cedar branches back with my right arm and body and used my left hand to shoot at an angle under the foliage. I ended up with cedar stuff all down the inside of my shirt, front and back. It was a "sticky situation". Lee

The man who helped me couldn't find ANY Holmes or Russo in the database. I was watching and didn't see either name. I'll look again when I have some time.

Hi Sharla,

You're very welcome and it was my honor. My husband's uncle is also buried there at the Manila American Cemetery and the nice people at American Battle Monuments Commission took the photo for us, so I am honored to return the favor! If you double click on the photo you will see that I added the lady's name that actually took the photo there in Manila.

Kindest regards,

Rebecca #47388083
