My mother instilled in me a strong desire to learn more about my family roots. Her own mother died during my mother's infancy. Family circumstances were such that Mom knew very little about her mother's family or background and she always yearned to know more. Mom is in heaven now, yet I feel her guiding presence as I learn more about our family.
