Bio

Bob sadly passed away, but Nancy is managing the account.

We started researching family history in 2005. We have learned a lot and determined that we're not the only ones in the family doing the research. Bob, my husband and best friend, and I got involved in photographing some cemeteries in Washington State, but only small ones. Our interest is usually personal, however this is a way for people to connect with lost ancestors. There are States that have made it a priority to read and document all the cemeteries, and we know it is a huge task for any volunteer. We have found in visiting many cemeteries in our travels that once put in the ground, our ancestors are forgotten until we research our genealogy. Enjoy the photos that we post, and maybe you will find one of your ancestors. By the way, we do have family ties in some of the virtual cemeteries we posted. So if you find my posts, chances are you could be related in some way or another. If you would like a copy of our photos, please let us know.

Because we travel so much, we will continually update our address so that if we are in your area, we would be glad to search for a family gravestone for you.

I will be adding another memorial to our list. This time it is for Robert Earl Shepard, Jr., my husband. He passed away in Phoenix, AZ on 9-15-10 and will be buried at Fort Rosecrans in Point Loma, CA on 11-17-10 with full military honors. Bob is survived by a daughter, Nicole, living and working in San Diego, CA. Bob served as a corpsman in Vietnam before and during the Tet offensive.

Although Bob is gone, I will carry on the photography. I only hope that the quality of my photos will match the quality of his.

Thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers, it is appreciated.
