Bio Photo Please feel free to use my photos in your trees and reference as your source.

I try to honor Find A Grave's policies, including their policies on additions of Obits, information on living individuals, and other pertinent info. Please see the "Help with Find A Grave" link on the left side of the page under Actions.

PLEASE NOTE: At the top of every memorial in the right hand corner is an EDIT tab. Please use this tab to request additions, changes or transfers. This links the information directly to the memorial.

Find A Grave has over 100 million memorials and many names are similar. It takes time to find the correct memorial. Memos, notes, or requests left on my Member Page do not give me the appropriate information to make these changes.

After 12 years its time to retire. I will be happy to transfer any memorial that is unrelated to me.

Thanks so much for understanding,
Sharon J.

I wondered if this was a cenotaph or if you know that he is actually buried there?

RE: 55640165
Hi again Sharon,

I made a change on Melodie's dates, once again based on the Mt. Tam Cemetery records. I checked the CADI and Mellody Anne's death is listed as S.F. This spelling is as given on the CADI and also on the mortuary records.

So perhaps there was an error on the baby boy's place of death?

Any way you can check at your end?

Hi Sharon,
I made a correction to this memorial but neglected to change the POB. I imagine it almost has to be Marin County. The source of my information is the Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery/Mortuary office record. The infant was removed to Upham on Aug 31st 1973.

RE: John Mack Doty transfer
Sharon, I don't know anything about him, as my interest lies in the Autens, but I did a little poking around. Ancestry shows a 16-yr-old John M Doty, oldest child of Joseph & Elizabeth Doty, on the 1880 Census, living across the river from Moundsville, in Belmont County, Ohio. That approximates his birth as 1864, so that fits w/what Wm Kirby reported on John's death certificate. (Is Wm still alive? Doubtful, but if so, maybe you could ask him re: John).

Anyway, that Census shows John as the oldest, and his next sibling is Mary E, aged 14, putting her birth year as 1866. Does that fit w/your grandma? The other siblings in the family are Susan, Thomas, Monroe, William, Levi, and Annie. Sounds like a great bunch!

I'd love to know if this is the right fit. Can't wait to hear from you.

RE: Harry Day memorial
I have uploaded the picture to Harry's memorial page and deleted the duplicate memorial.

RE: August Krebs
I noticed that, too, and was glad to be able to add to the information.
I am not related to him, but I knew his son and his brother, Frank. In fact, in later years, my mom ran the cafe that Frank and his wife owned. Both Frank and George were really nice men and I am happy to continue to work on their family history.
