I find copying headstones interesting, I like finding interesting people with interesting story's. Most my family buried in the greater Philadelphia area but I live in the Harrisburg area so I'll copy headstones here. Worked inside most my life and wanted to be outside after I retired so copied headstones and published them in the Quarterly once issued by the Capital Area Genealogical Society.|
Please use 'edit' tab on memorial page for corrections and or additional information.
I now strictly adhere to the Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. No exceptions. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Please don't justify an out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information. Am perfectly capable of doing this, especially now with the new EDIT system - much quicker than transferring. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision.

Again thanks for the quick edits. on Sarah Flynn Arnold's memorial. I forgot to put in an auto edit to her father, James Flynn (another one of yours).

I go to York to visit family now and then and because you have done so much, for so many, by creating memorials and supplying photos of thousands of headstones, I would be honored to try to fulfill your photo request for this old headstone.
But with 26,000 graves in so many acres there, is it possible for you to call and get a section or an area to look in? As you know, I usually photograph in much smaller cemeteries! :)

I added the information you forwarded to me for Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Garber. Thanks for the help.

May I use your headstone photo on ancestry.com for Alice Pisle Dull? Thanks.

|Michael Sheaffer||Amanda A Sheaffer|
Bob, I received a suggestion from your regarding memorial of Amanda A Sheaffer at Mt. Olivet Cemetery that said it was a duplicate of an earlier entry. I do not understand where the duplicate entry is, could you be more specific? I do not see another entry for Amanda A Sheaffer? -Thanks!

Thanks once again for the quick edits .. this time for Christian "Christie" Arnold in Baldwin Cemetery. I'll be working on a couple of others you manage in this cemetery as well so you'll be hearing from me again fairly soon. The kin network from the Shattos keeps expanding exponentially!!!!
|Fluttrbye||Mrs David Strine # 44582318|
Dear Robert Viguers,
You left me a correction for the memorial I created for Catharine Holler Strine # 130457524, indicating it is a "Duplicate of earlier entry----correction should have been made to 'Mrs Strine".
So I have a question, if I may:
Is the grave marker for Catharine Holler Strine # 130457524 located at the same place as Mrs David Strine #44582318 Plot: Section 30, Lot G, Grave 6 ?
If it is the same person, then that makes Catherine Holler Strine the wife of David Strine? I was unaware of the connection.
I will send you the corrections to Mrs David Strine since you created the memorial and delete the memorial I have for Catharine Holler.
Thank you for clearing this up for me. I haven't found a record of the marriage of David Strine and Catharine Holler yet but it helps to have Catharine's name to go on to keep searching.
Thank you so much!
|J. Reed||Morris M. Miller|
My name is Jay Reed and I have been researching the Miller family for many years and I noticed the memorial for Morris Miller buried in the Methodist Cemetery in Williamstown. He is a part of my Miller lineage and I would like to maintain the memorial if you wouldn't mind. My link # is 46966052. Thank you for your time.
