I am currently researching my family connections to these familes: Bozeman, Poole, Bliss, Murray, Robbins, Jones, and Story. |
I welcome contacts from others researching these families in Georgia, Alabama, Florida. I am retired and this is my full time hobby along with traveling this great USA!
I am a volunteer in many cemeteries. Feel free to ask me for your relatives/friends, etc. I would be DELIGHTED to transfer any you need/WANT. You may right click and copy ANY PHOTOS I have posted with my blessing! Glad to help! Have a Blessed day! JESUS SAVES!

|Gregg W. Giddens||ST. REGIS CEMETERY - WORTH COUNTY, GEORGIA?|
I have been desperately trying to find some info on a cemetery in Worth County. It is or was called St. Regis Cemetery. It was mentioned in a book called "The complete Cemetery records of Worth County Georgia" by Catherine Fussel and it is where my 3rd great grandfather is buried. His name was Vann Holton (1818-1868). On find a grave i listed him at new hope church i think where his wife is, but that was just a guess. His wife's name was Nancy Taylor Holton (1820-1882).
I've searched on find a grave but nothing. There is one in Stewart County Georgia but he died in Worth County and his wife is buried in Worth. The records in that book state it is in Worth County.
IN your research have you at all heard of it?
There was a St Regis landing strip and a St Regis paper company or something in Worth County, perhaps the cemetery is on the property where they were. It may be on private land or lost out in the woods.
On Facebook someone called banks funeral home but they don't know it, so it probably hasn't been used in the past hundred years.
It's a mystery i am desperate to solve. It was stated that my ggg grandfather had one of the few headstones standing there but now who knows.
Thanks for your time.... If you know anything I'd sure appreciate it.

I have linked him to Melinda McCarty, buried in same cemetery. I am assuming that is whom you referred to in your correction. Next time use the edit tab and type in memorial number in the appropriate space; this will save time, etc. Thanks

These are two different men with the same name. The DOB and DOD are different. Their parents are different. (Death certificate on one verifies the parents and dates.)
