Bio

I decided to join Find a Grave and help do my part for those who came and went before us.

In doing this perhaps the following quotes may shed some light.

"In every conceivable manner, the family is link to our past, bridge to our future." Alex Haley

"As life runs on, the road grows strange with faces new - and near the end. The milestones into headstones change, Neath every one a friend."
James Russell Lowell

So Little Time
"The clock on the wall is ticking away
Hours and minutes of my precious day
To sit here idle would be a great crime
There is so much to do and so little time
Few people can see in all their haste
That a day of your life
Is not something to waste"
Found on headstone in Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers, Illinois
**********************
"Earth Has No Sorrow That Heaven Can Not Heal."
Found on headstone in Friends Cemetery, Bentown, McLean County, Illinois
**************************************
"Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again"
Found on headstone in Scogin Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois
*****************************
"Not lost blest thought, but gone before,
Where we shall meet, to part no more."
Found on headstone in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois
*****************************
"Tell me not the Christian dieth
When the spirit takes its flight
Tis but going home to heaven
To the land of pure delight"
Found on headstone in First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Metuchen, Middlesex County, New Jersey

Thanks for your patience and most of all thanks for your hard work in Find a Grave.
May God Bless you.

To add or correct information on memorials or ask for transfers please use Send A Correction on the memorial under the edit tab.

I am willing to make transfers, unless they are a family member of mine. As long as those asking do the same for others.

Please add memorial numbers for links so as no mistake is made in adding.
