My hobby is genealogy. My interest started when I was collecting old black and white photos of relatives. A few pictures made me want to know more like: Who was this person? What was their life like?
Every family has a story but sometimes it just takes some digging to find it.
I look forward to many more discoveries and thankful for the people I meet along the way.
It definately has renewed my interest in history.

I don't know if our families connect but my Bucks have used the name Roe quite a lot. My Elijah Buck went to Canada c. 1808 and had a son he named Roe Buck. Roe's brother Almond had a son named Charles Roe. Wish I could figure out the significance! Do you know anything about it?
Hi, I'm Monnie Bess. My maternal grandmother was Edith Mae Leap, a descendant of JWL through Gabriel, Samuel, Charles W., and Charles C. Leap. I have been trying to put together/fill out the descendants from all ten of JWL's children. I would love to have whatever information you might have and would be happy to share what I have. Thank you.

Hi. You've spent a lot of time researching this fellow. A lot of Ancestry.com family trees say Adam's wife Anna was the daughter of Col. Peter Bellinger and Delia Herkimer. What's your take on that? thanks, Sharon
