Bio and Links
I am a retired accountant. I've been doing genealogy for about 15 years, working with my sister. I love to camp and my husband and I go out as often as possible.

If anyone finds a mistake in any of my entries, please let me know so I can correct it. I would appreciate supporting documents with these corrections. If you have any additional information, I would be happy to add it.

I have added all available photographable tombstones in Big Adkins Cemetery, Eugene Township, Carroll County, Missouri. There were several very old sandstone tombstones that could not be cleaned and read. If you find one that is your ancestor, let me know and if it isn't also mine, I will be happy to transfer it to you.

Don't ask me for transfers or to make changes that aren't verified if you don't have an e-mail address or allow public postings on your own page. If I can't verify certain info or you don't care enough for me to be able to explain my own actions--or lack thereof, then don't ask in the first place.

John Wesley Huffman
John Wesley Huffman, son of Benjamin Franklin and Eliza Foltz Huffman, died in 1939 in Street, Maryland and is buried in the Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery in Street. His one and only wife, Candis Louvinia Jones, outlived him by 17 years. I'm pretty sure of this info. You have him buried in Page County, Va, in the Knicely/Huffman Cemetery. If I am wrong, please correct me.
Thanks.

Barry Michie
Grover Eugene Shatto Memorial
June:

Want to thank you for your quick attention to suggested edits to Grover Shatto's memorial. This is a most interesting family, from the patriarch, Elijah Shatto, on down (alas his burial location is unknown).

I have one more edit to send you, linking him to his first wife. I had requested her memorial creator to make the link but so far no response.

I've also added flowers.

Best, Barry

Joshua Null
I searched the entire cemetery and did not locate a headstone for Joshua Null. I did take a picture of Henry Null's headstone. He was the only Null that I located. I will post that photo.

Addie Pauline Gilstrap
Hi June,
Thanks so much for the information on Addie Pauline Gilstrap Newman Bruce. I have updated the information on her memorial and linked her to her first husband as well as one of her children. I did find some information on her second husband on FamilySearch.org and added the information to her bio.

If I can further assist, please let me know.

I just entered a picture of this person's gravestone in the Goodland Cemetery and noticed that the death date on the stone is different than what you have. Would you please confirm the correct date?

Thanks, LeAnn

Caroline & William Miller

I noticed both of our memorials were duplicated by the same person so I kindly asked them if they would add the headstone photos to our memorials respectively. Thanks for the heads up! Kym

Your Virginia Dovel request
I'm pretty sure your Virginia "Jennie" Koontz Dovel's gravestone is engraved Eliza V Dovel as it is right next to Frank Dovel and Frank's stone has the dates that you have. To the right of "Eliza" is another Dovel stone of the same type for Edna Dovel (1901-1941), perhaps Eliza and Frank's daughter? Centered behind them is a Dovel headstone for that family of three, which I posted on Virginia's page.
