My name is Michelle Renee "Shelley" (Latey) Broyles. I am the mother of three children: Jonathan, 22, a Marine; Mikaila, 19, a student at BYU; and Tessa, 17, an exchange student in Germany. And grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters. Right now I am a full-time student; pursuing a major in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Science. I have been researching my family for 18+ years and put as much time as I can into the hobby. My husband, Dan, jokes that my idea of a good vacation is being in a cemetery, which isn't far from the truth. Everywhere I travel I try to stop and take pictures of cemeteries in hopes that someone will be helped in finding family members. I live in Johnson Co., Kansas, so if I can be of help please contact me and let me know. Happy hunting everyone!|
I am a full-time student, so my time is very limited. I get a lot of requests. Please be as patient as you can. I promise I will get to them. I am not hard-nosed as some contributors are and will be happy to transfer memorials if they are in your family lines. Also, when communicating remember that "you get more with honey than with vinegar." Thank you everyone!
OH, one more thing, I have the sexton records for the Olathe Cemetery up to, I believe, 2006. I have yet to get them all up. I have taken all the photographs of tombstones if there is one. I am still working on getting all of those up. Let me know if you are wondering about someone and I will look them up for you.
PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE A REQUEST FOR A TRANSFER OR MEMORIAL CORRECTION DO IT FROM THE MEMORIAL DON'T PLACE IT IN MY MESSAGES. Only leave messages if you are thanking me, or are, or think you are related. As I go through my messages I delete them, so that I know that I have responded or read them. Please know that I see and appreciate every one of them! :)
****This semester I have 19 credit hours. Finals week is the week of December 10th. I promise to get to everyone's requests then. Thank you so much for your patience!****

Shelly - It has been nearly 30 days since I asked for transfers of the memorials for Robert Ellis #22686169 and his spouse Eliza J. Ellis #22686117. Perhaps you could reply if you would prefer not making a transfer so I can give you family links, etc. I would prefer not sending this request to Find A Grave administration.

Thank you taking the time to post my Uncle Charlie. Do you think anyone could take a picture of his military headstone?
His family and him are from Midland Michigan. Hub of Dow.
I would like to ask your permission to use the photo of Ray Tipton in Rosedale Cemetery, Oklahoma on my site in Ancestry. I would give you credit for the photo.

Would you mind transferring William Bond Davis to me as administrator. He is 2nd great grandfather. I have info to add.
|The Irish Lady||Olathe Mem Cem - Colemans|
I am working on my family line and found Salina and her husband Rolla here. You took great pics of their headstones. It really helps to see them when verifying family info.
I wondered if you would allow me to use the pics in the family research (with credit, of course)? Gail
|David Garrison||Elder Family in Olathe Memorial cemetery|
I found interesting information on Dr. and Mrs Clifford P. Elder that I would like to add to their memorials. Request either a transfer or I can forward the information to you to add. Clifford's memorial is # 22685982 and his wife's memorial is # 22686006. I'm sure the memorial marked "Sign Elder" is Mrs. Elder's memorial, as she died in 1932, but don't know what the word "Sign" signifies. Thank you.
|Alvin C Poole||Abel Galland Memorial Cemetery|
Shelley, can you edit and change the RLDS Memorial Cemetery name to read Abel Galland Mmorial Cemetery/aka RLDS. Since we (WIPCA) built the cemetery and had the signage as Abel Galland Memorial Cemetery, we feel that is how it should be listed. Make sense? Let me know your thoughts, Alvin, Treasurer, WIPCA
|Bob Ziegler||Thank you!|
Thank you for adding the memorial for Inez Coger, my long-lost biological grandmother.
