Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid family history researcher, and I enjoy helping others to locate information through this website. It is rewarding to help others; walking through the cemeteries provides great exercise (especially on some of the hillside grave sites here); and the grave stone writings provide quite a bit of history of the people who lived in the area.

I love bird watching and hiking through the woods. I have had the same horse, Dandy, for 21 years, since he was two years old. He gave me many years of pleasure for trail riding, fun shows, team penning, etc. and now he is enjoying life in his pasture.

I am retired from a public school system and volunteer for an outreach center and thrift shop which helps those in need. It is nice to have the time to devote to my family history research.

Thank you! Given the size of that tombstone, I guess the person who told me the tombstone wasn't there must need a trip to the eye doctor.

Hello Susan,

Thank you very much for taking the great gravestone photos. I appreciate your effort.
I was planning on using the pictures in my family tree on ancestry.com and will include you as the source. I hope that's okay with you, if not, please let me know.

Best Regards,
Van Laffoon

RE: Estella and Charles Myers
Thank you very much for your help! I really appreciate the photo. Estella's burial location has been moved from the New to the Old Saint Joseph's Cemetery. I suppose that when I added her memorial I linked it to her husband's existing memorial which was listed as the New St. Joseph Cemetery. I am not the manager for her husband's memorial, but if you like I can forward the message on to Scott Hunt (#47925303) who does.

Thank you again!
