Bio

For the past twenty plus years I have been working on my family history. Things are so much easier now to research from the comfort of my own home with all the information available online.

I love to walk through the old cemeteries. I only wish they could tell their stories a little "louder".

Now I have a place to deposit all the information I have acquired over the years. It will take a while to get it all up here. I look forward to meeting others who are researching the same lines.

Family names I am researching are:
Merrill, Hall, Bailey, Hayes, Anderson, Batten
Samuelson, Larson, Holcomb, Bancroft
Erdenberger, Stanhope, Owen, Lockwood, Bender, Bickel, Wise
Rothe, Kerr, McCoy, Zeits, Wolf, Armstrong, Harbison, Sagerson
Gillespie, Geiger, Roll
Cone,Beauseigneur, Hirtzel
LaBrie, Samson
I welcome all inquiries or will share information from my files.

I picked up this quote at the Ashtabula OH County library in Geneva:
THE STORY TELLERS
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the story tellers of the tribe.
