|Caryl Gibson||RE: Gobrecht Family|
Thanks for your message. I am related to the Gobrecht family on my mother's side. My great-grandfather was Henry Louis Gobrecht who married Ida May Dayhoff. Henry's mother was Louisa but not sure what his father's name was as she was widowed and remarried Jacob Hess. He (Henry)ran away from home in his late teens and changed his name to Gobright.
My mother, who is deceased, always told me that our ancestors trace back to Rev. John Christopher Gobrecht, the first Gobrecht immigrant and founder of the German Reformed Church in America.
You can also contact me at email@example.com as I would be very interested in your research.

I found Nancy's husband listed on Find a grave, listed as James Harrison Vance. In reality Her husband was James N Vance. James Harrison Vance was married to Mary Frances Preyar Vance. They were my great Grandparents.
Smith Etter was my Great-Great Uncle. Thank you so much for adding his wife and child. I did not know about them. Much appreciated. Shelby

I transferred 4 memorials. Please let me know if I missed any or if there are others you would like. I'm so happy that family found them and that they're back home!

I have added some photo to your cemetery. I have additional names and photos to add. Some of them may require corrections because the stones are very hard to read. I added an overview to the cemetery so that people can see that there are many more people buried here.
Did you notice....I had the yod as 1959 instead of 1859!!!!

So SORRY, I did not look at her year of death. Will straighten this out eventually. Thank you SO much for all your research.

"Julia Alice Walter is a daughter of John Peter and Catherine (Dewald) Walter." I have to disagree, she does NOT appear on the 1860 or 1870 Census with them. She would have been 2 and 12 respectively and they already have a 12 year old on the 1870 Census. Copy of Censuses on John's memorial http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=walter&GSiman=1&GScid=17050&GRid=50371122&. Thank you.

Tracy, THANK YOU for the documentation. Hopefully, I've made all the corrections you sent. We've been spending quite a bit of time at the hospital so your "leg work" was very helpful. God Bless.

|SMG||Corrections to memorials|
Tracy, you sent me a correction for Catherine (Copp) Walter. I've added the information to the memorial but don't have time right now to research. Do you have any documentation to prove she is a DeVault? It would help. From my family records I was sure she was a Copp.
You also wrote, "I have some possible corrections to other memorials if you're interested."
I'm always interested in making my memorials as accurate as possible. Will welcome corrections.
