Thank You so much for righting this memorial. Another kind volunteer will soon be looking for our Alfred in the files of the Culpeper National Cemetery in Culpeper, Va. Culpeper being where our Alfred died. If he is found there I or the volunteer will make a memorial for him. Again Thanks.

|GrammyWindy||Sarah Cranor...Thank you!!|
My Sarah Cranor (July 1844) married a James M Cranor (Nov 1843), in Indiana. I found a couple buried in Virginia, but the birthdates, etc..don't add up. Sarah was the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Taylor Beeson Hannagan. Sarah Taylor was married to Martin Beeson, who died young, and then she married Daniel Hannagan. Martin, Daniel, and two young children are all buried in the Dodderbridge Cemetery, Centerville, Wayne, IN. I just can't locate the two Sarah's and was hoping to find Sarah Cranor, in that it might lead me to her mother...Hope this makes sense...Don't worry if you can't...A son of Martin & Sarah's is my 3rd great-grandfather, Isaac R. Beeson, and he fell completely out of the picture after an 1870 Census in Atchison, MO!
Wow...I didn't expect such a quick response..and thank you so much!! Alas, it's the wrong Cranor..my Sarah Cranor, was first Sarah J Hannagan(?sp?) who married a Cranor! And you are right..there are a lot of Cranors! How can I ever repay you for the effort you made? I'm new to all of this!!

Duane and Angie,
Thanks so very much for trying to locate a tombstone for Robert. So sad to hear he doesn't have a tombstone. Your most kind help was so very much appreciated.

Noticed the memorial for Richard Clifton has him listed a in Company "A" of the 69th IN Vols. He was actually in Company "K" of the 69th. He served with my GG-grand Uncle Elmore Davis of Fayette county also. Just thought you would want to know. Thanks

Don't give up, I took 24 photos today at Chalmette, and another 6 at another cemetery. The next time I go I should have more time to try to locate the grave. The number listed for section and graveite just didn't match up and I knew I would have trouble with that gravesite. It may be another three weeks before I can go again as I am finishing up with tax season.
