I've been trying to get into contact with you and Nicky for years. Ken, Karen, Kallie and I are all doing very well. We are all on Facebook. Would love to get in touch to share geneology. I'm spending time in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. I thought our Grandmother Allie was from Lawrenceburg. I also thought that she and Grandfather Everett were married there. I'm trying to confirm that information and learn what church they were married in. I am a local business owner in Lawrenceburg. It's a beautiful town, rich in history. I can easily get information, pictures, whatever is needed. Any information and pictures you can share with me would be very much appreciated. I hope you are doing very well and happy!

Were you related to her husband, Paul?

Kelly, I have ordered a replacement funeral home marker and will install it in the next week or so. I will replace the photo at that time. This cemetery is extremely well maintained and is in a beautiful setting.

My husband and I walked the entire Pyrmont Cemetery this past weekend and could not find any marker(s) for Rena and Rosa Maxel; however, we did find the possible parents, William and Martha Maxel, along with a little monument with what appeared to be a baby seal on top of it with the names Cyrus Maxel (d. 11/10/1880) and Ida May Maxel (d. 8/3/1872) with two small pieces of stones on either side of the baby marker. There is a space/gap between the William and Martha Maxel marker and the marker with Cyrus and Ida May. Perhaps this space between the markers is where Rena and Rosa are buried but no marker was ever put in for them. Did not find any other Maxels in the rest of the cemetery.

Kelly, East Fork Cem is small and old. In fact the adjacent church, still active, is the oldest church in Indiana. Between myself and others the stones that are legible have been documented. It is quite an interesting place with lots of graves from the earliest settlers. It is close to a creek, Tanner's Creek, a tributary to the Ohio river just a few miles away.
There is a series of books (5 volumes) by a local historian named Milton A. Masing, titled "Dearborn County, Indiana, Cemetery Records". Although the one volume that covers East Fork Cem is sold out, you may be able to find some information about other Craigs buried nearby in other cemeteries - most of the cems are well kept up and Masing did not miss many graves in his research. I've found Masing information on the internet. Good luck and let me know if you find anything locally; perhaps I can check it out for you.
Hello, you should have received 5 surname Craig memorial transfers from East Fork Cemetery. These photos were some of my earliest and were not of great quality - however perhaps you can follow up. Enjoy! Dan Stropes
Regarding your message for Carl and Elizabeth Glaser, I will transfer these to you.
I am not related, just decided to take alot of pictures one day while at Earlham looking around at the mausoleum.

Thanks so much for the picture. He was my favorite uncle and I was unable to attend his funeral. I really appreciate the picture.
Thanks. Marcia Elsner

You are right they are buried in Arlington Cemetery. Parish Cemetery is directly across the street and people refer to that one as Arlington also.
