Researching my family history has recently become important to me... this site has been very helpful in linking up ancestors in far away places and creating an album for my family.|
Grateful for the assistance, I'm also happy to return the favor... and it's helping me figure out where I want to invest in a "landing spot", also.
Update: I found out today that apparently at least one cemetery office thinks I'm scamming you, and therefore charges ridiculously high prices for information that I expected they'd offer as a customer service. (Well, at least I know where I WON'T be buying a plot!) All that to say I may have better luck with your requests if you call the cemetery yourself for the details, then post plot/location details in your request. (Specific directions to the grave in larger cemeteries would also be helpful.)
The vast majority of the memorials I manage are the result of my converting available online cemetery transcriptions into FindAGrave's spreadsheet format. Credit for the initial legwork definitely goes to those "in the field"; all of my hours on it were spent at a desk. :) Happy to make transfers.
Also: Images I post here are for your use and distribution unless specifically noted otherwise. Credit is always appreciated.

Thanks Anita. Always like to get confirmation as I have found some that are not buried in the cemetery stated.

Hello. I see Harriet Fredendall is in the Clinton cemetery. I have not done many memorials there, but I did a few when I was looking for a cousin of mine who is buried there. All my information came from the Rock County Genealogy Society's list of burials. If you use the "request a Photo" button on the page, someone who lives closer than I do may photograph the stone. If you want me to transfer the memorial to you just let me know.

Hello Anita, That is an original out of the camera picture of the black stone marker in the concrete or granite slab. Same as Gustav Gross nest to her. They look like new replacements for being placed in 1948 or so. It photoshop enhance most of my pictures to make them clearer or sharper but nothing else is added. Thanks, Brent

Thank you for finding all this. As it is, it has been very hard to find enough information on all of them since no one had all the names of the ones who died. Had the adults but not names for the children. Altogether there were 28 deaths in just a few days. The stones were put up quite a bit of time later by Daniel C. Knight. I hope you can share what you know. Are you my family?

Are you still doing research on Deer Creek Friends Meeting House burial grounds? We are doing extensive research and revitilization there (under authority), and did not know if you needed any missing information. We recovered several Ely stones earlier this spring. Just let me know.

Thank you for taking the photo of the gravemarker for our relative, Jerome Griggs. I appreciate your assistance!

Transfer not necessary. I was just looking at some unusual spellings of names, this is what I saw:
U.S., Find A Grave Index
Name: Peter Sakowksi
Birth Date: 1897
Death Date: 1975
Cemetery: Saint Stanislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery
Thank you for checking on it.
